Saraguro – Loja(Universidad de Cuenca. Facultad de Artes, 2026-03-04) González Ramón, Edith Paola; Lozano Guamán, Flor MargaritaUrdaneta Parish possesses significant tourism and economic potential; however, it currently faces social and cultural challenges that have limited its comprehensive development and the strengthening of its local identity. CUENCA - ECUADOR(Universidad de Cuenca. Facultad de Artes, 2026-03-04) Molina Plaza, Edgar Geovanny; Ochoa Fernández, Paola MarcelaThe growth of the older adult population in the city highlights a lack of recreational spaces specifically designed to comprehensively address their physical, cognitive, and social needs, which in turn limits their well-being, autonomy, and active participation within the community. In response to this situation, the present proposal focuses on the interior design of a Recreation and Leisure Center for older adults, based on an analysis of their needs and capacities, and theoretically supported by Florence Clark’s Occupational Therapy in Aging and the principles of universal design. Through a specialized literature review and an analysis of the current conditions of the space, design guidelines are established to enhance occupational performance and improve users’ quality of life. Based on this information, an interior intervention proposal is developed and presented through technical and visual schemes, along with a budget plan, aimed at ensuring the proper development and financial viability of the project. In this way, the proposal is consolidated as a social contribution to the city, promoting inclusive environments that encourage active and dignified aging among the older adult population.Item Propuesta de diseño interior del Centro de Desarrollo Infantil “Pequeños Pasos” enfocado en el área de Estimulación Temprana, ubicado en Gualaquiza, Morona Santiago(Universidad de Cuenca.
