Item Planeación didáctica innovadora para el desarrollo de la creatividad social en adolescentes mediante la improvisación teatral(Universidad de Cuenca. Facultad de Artes, 2025-11-07) Irigoyen Cruz, Karina Belén; Collado Ruano, JavierThis work proposes an innovative didactic plan for teaching within Cultural and Artistic Education at the Second Year of High School level, focusing on the use of theatrical improvisation as a pedagogical tool to stimulate social creativity in adolescents. Based on William Layton’s acting method and the SED Structure (Dramatic Expression Session), the approach transforms curricular content into meaningful learning experiences that promote communicative, empathetic, and collaborative skills. The proposed didactic plan aligns with the current Ecuadorian curriculum and is validated through an applied class centered on interculturality using Day of the Dead traditions from various countries. The experience showed improvements in student participation, critical thinking, and creative expression, as well as concrete benefits for professional teacher development, as the educator assumes an active and reflective role in learning mediation. This pedagogical model proves effective for the holistic development of young people and for educational innovation through the arts.Item Planeación didáctica para la sensibilización medioambiental de estudiantes ecuatorianos de 7° grado de Educación General Básica(Universidad de Cuenca. Facultad de Artes, 2025-10-17) Darquea Arias, María Rosa; Rodríguez Rodríguez, Tannia EdithThe research explores the transformative potential of art in education, proposing a didactic methodology that leverages artistic expression as a vehicle for environmental awareness. Although the planning considers Ecuadorian seventh-grade students, it is adaptable to different age groups. The proposal responds to a specific problematic situation: the insufficient integration of environmental education in the artistic curriculum and the limited use of art's awareness-raising potential to address contemporary ecological problems such as inadequate waste management. To this end, a six-session didactic sequence was designed and implemented that integrates multiple artistic disciplines (visual arts, literature, music, and body expression) with the objective of addressing responsible solid waste management at home. The theoretical foundations supporting this proposal derive from Relational Art, Environmental Art, and Reggio Emilia pedagogy. Additionally, the proposal uses the story "Ecoexploradores" as a structuring narrative resource and articulates artistic principles with multisensory creative experiences inspired by the work of Deniz Sağdıç, while also incorporating the dimension of socio-environmental justice through the visibility of grassroots recyclers' work. The evaluation—structured in diagnostic, formative, and summative phases—demonstrates how the artistic creation of three-dimensional models allows students to develop technical and expressive competencies alongside emotional connections to environmental issues, while validating the effectiveness of the integrative approach proposed by the figure of the Multidisciplinary Artistic-Cultural Promoter as an evolution of the teaching role in artistic education. In this way, the proposal contributes to improving the educational system through methodologies that position art as a catalyst for social and environmental transformation.Item Planeación didáctica para el desarrollo de las capacidades sensoriales de estudiantes de Educación General Básica, mediante prácticas gastronómicas creativas(Universidad de Cuenca. Facultad de Artes, 2025-10-14) Gavilema Caisa, Wilma del Pilar; Escobar Cobos, Santiago AndrésThis research proposal is an instructive methodological classes for teachers of Cultural and Artistic Education (CEE) in General Basic Education. Moreover, this proposal center on developing perceptible capacities in seventh grade students, through creative gastronomic practices. By way of Project-Based Learning (PBL) in company with Universal Design for Learning (UDL), that is to say the students will experience the sensorial world by preparing recipes, exploring textures, and creating artistic forms with food. The target is to foster creativity, collaboration, and recognition of gastronomy as an artistic expression. Furthermore, this activities incorporate preparation such as: foam, aromatic drinks, mayonnaise, guacamole, and sauces, additionally construction of culinary sculptures representing animal with figures. The assessment will be based on the sensory quality and presentation of the final products. This interdisciplinary approach strengthen the connection in the middle of art, science, and culture, enabling CEE teachers to integrate gastronomy, innovative and meaningful pedagogical tools. Also, incorporating gastronomy into the classroom not only develops students’ sensory abilities, besides enriches their educational experience by linking creativity with hands to learn.Item Planeación didáctica para la integración social y el desarrollo creativo de niños con TDAH a través del arte pictórico popular(Universidad de Cuenca. Facultad de Artes, 2025-10-14) Martínez Bonilla, David Sebastián; Delgado Mendoza, HishochyAttention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is one of the most common neurodevelopmental disorders in childhood. The symptoms that children present directly affect their social relationships and also have an impact on their academic performance. In addition to these aspects, behavioral and cognitive factors must also be taken into account (Garrido-Landívar, 2017). Treatment generally combines medication and talk therapy; however, it is essential to recognize that the environment where children learn and interact, such as the classroom, is a key space for promoting the development of their cognitive and social experiences. This paper proposes the instructional methodology class modality as another tool to guide teachers in the area of Cultural and Artistic Education to impart knowledge to children with ADHD together with the rest of their classmates in an organic way. This exercise uses works of popular pictorial art from Ecuador as a reference for structuring, interpreting, and analyzing actions, with an approach that not only serves to deepen understanding of the works but also seeks to comprehensively stimulate and activate students' creativity. Considering the proposal by Moya, Urías, and Pino (2024), in terms of research, didactic planning undergoes an experimental process based on the use of an adapted form of Lesson Study and, in turn, employs the principles of the Montessori Methodology.Item Planeación didáctica musical para el desarrollo de la motricidad fina mediante la percusión corporal en estudiantes de 11 a 12 años de edad(Universidad de Cuenca. Facultad de Artes, 2025-10-13) Yumisaca León, Jhonatan Israel; Salaberri Lecumberri, FermínThis research aims to develop a musical teaching plan for the improvement of fine motor skills through body percussion among 11- and 12-year-old students in a Cultural and Artistic Education class. The proposal responds to a specific problematic situation: During adolescence, deficiencies are observed in activities that require fine manual skills and adequate motor coordination, which negatively may impact their performance in an academic environment and simple daily tasks. Based on scientific and musical bibliography that address body percussion in early stages, this project relies on constructivism. Jacques Dalcroze methodology will also be a pedagogical reference for working with Ecuadorian music following MINEDUC (Ministry of Education) curriculum. Once implemented, this methodology has shown considerable improvements in fine motor skills through body percussion. The results validate the effectiveness of the approach implemented here.Item Planeación didáctica para niños y niñas: El collage como medio de aprendizaje sobre las fiestas populares de Riobamba(Universidad de Cuenca. Facultad de Artes, 2025-10-13) Morales Ortega, Cristian Fernando; Malo Larrea, MargaritaThis research arises from the notable loss of interest and knowledge among new generations regarding the Pase del Niño Rey de Reyes, one of the most representative religious and cultural festivities in Riobamba. In response to this issue, it is proposed to design a didactic plan to safeguard this manifestation, delivered through a theoretical-practical class with 4th-year Basic General Education students. The proposal is based on the application of artistic techniques such as collage and Big Art, integrated with educational methodologies such as Project-Based Learning and the Flipped Classroom, which are aligned with the Cultural and Artistic Education curriculum. Initially, an ethnographic methodology will be used to thoroughly understand the tradition through surveys and interviews with key members of the festivity. The proposal is articulated around the traditional Ecuadorian rhythm of the albazo, employing an instructional class design based on the principles of Jaques-Dalcroze Eurhythmics, encouraging expressive embodiment through movement. The methodological design encompassed all stages of the educational process—anticipation, development, and consolidation—and was implemented at Unidad Educativa Ciudad de Cuenca. The intervention included rhythmic activities, spatial and energetic movement exploration, collaborative bodily sequences, and scenic performances. Student learning was assessed through rubrics that considered expressiveness, rhythmic accuracy, bodily awareness, and reflective capacity. The findings revealed significant improvements in the students' grasp of the albazo rhythm, their expressive use of movement, and their ability to convey meaningful messages through the body. However, challenges related to rhythmic precision during improvisation and the depth of reflective writing were also identified. These insights informed adjustments to the methodological proposal to improve its pedagogical impact. In conclusion, the study confirms the potential of body percussion as a holistic educational strategy, emphasizing its value in strengthening non-verbal communication, cultural identity, and group cohesion. Furthermore, the systematized experience serves as a replicable model that can be adapted by other educators to enrich artistic instruction in diverse educational settings.Item Propuesta de una clase metodológica a través de la construcción de la Palla como elemento articulador de una enseñanza múltiple(Universidad de Cuenca, 2025-08-05) Guerrero Lojano, René Humberto; San Martín Arévalo, Diego PaúlThis research aims to evaluate the implementation of Arts and Cultural Education (ECA) in the curriculum of Upper General Basic Education (EGB) in Ecuador. Because of the demand for beauty standards imposed by Western society, an ideal figure determines status and becomes synonymous with success. The dissemination of these canons through the media and social networks has a greater influence on adolescents, who are in the stage of building their identity. The internalization of these demands promotes physical and mental disorders, as well as behaviors aimed at modifying their own image. This search for perfection has fostered individualism, so it is necessary for educators to address this issue, encouraging analysis and reflection on body diversity and aesthetic overvaluation. This project presents artistic products made up of four artist's books with a digital instructive. This material aims to contribute to the formation of identity in adolescents. Prior to the realization of this material, a bibliography was reviewed and an Arts-Based Research was developed with 27 first level students of the Instituto Tecnológico Superior La Metro, located in Quito, Ecuador, who, from their perception about the cult of the body, elaborated artist's books
