Item Actividades artísticas como mecanismo escolar para reducir el estrés: caso de estudio la filigrana(Universidad de Cuenca, 2023-06-19) Cabrera Aucay, Milton Xavier; Zhindón Duarte, Jonnathan AndrésThe school stage turns out to be a complex process in the life of students since they not only have the obligation to devote much of their time to fulfill their homework but also have obligations outside the school environment; among them: family activities and difficulties from the health area, which are generators of stress in students, affecting their life, both physical and mental, inside and outside the classroom. Therefore, stress is a problem that must be taken into account in student life, as it directly reflects on the academic performance of children, a clear example is their behaviour, disinterest, distraction, and lack of motivation, among others; to improve this, the necessary tools must be applied to learn how to manage it. Hence, the arts have been used as mechanisms to cope with stress. It is through the plastic arts, specifically filigree, a technique that achieves artistic results from manipulating and rolling paper, which aims to lower stress levels in students and achieve physical and mental wellbeing. The use of lattice helps to reduce stress in students, creating a friendly environment where they can express their emotions, in addition to the satisfaction of artistic achievement, therefore, it can be used as a strategy to combat stress in students and prevent them from relapsing into more serious problems. The results show that it is appropriate and possible to decrease children's stress with the application of filigree.Item Adaptación de composiciones de música nacional ecuatoriana como componente didáctico para la enseñanza del piano en el nivel inicial del Conservatorio Superior de Música Salvador Bustamente Celi de la ciudad de Loja(2014) Aguirre Tene, Alex Roberto; Pineda Albán, Roque ArulfoThe program of study of the initial level of piano at the Conservatory of Music “Salvador Bustamante Celi" city of Loja, shows that piano students have no teaching instrument musical piano with sounds of our musical staff and Ecuador training is carried out based on European, American and Latin American repertoire without diminishing its importance. For this reason, the following research proposal arises: Tutorial for piano teaching repertoire instrument Ecuadorian initial level, it is composed of musical concepts, practical technical exercises, and eighteen adaptations of Ecuadorian popular music with progressive difficulties include rhythmic patterns for the left hand and its corresponding implementation in certain musical piece and gender appropriate for the systematic development of skills and abilities that will affect them positively in the musical training of students. And also, there is provided a musical technical analysis of national musical compositions potentially suitable for educational versions of the initial level of piano, which were selected according to the rhythmic classification periods makes Gerardo Guevara Ecuadorian music, being established as follows: Period Colonial Tonadas, Albazos, Aires Típicos, and the period of the Republic the Pasillos. These affectations have been compiled in the creation of a series of contemporary pictorial art works that make up the sample "Mangle", which, when exhibited, makes this little known subject known to society in order for it to reflect and promote conservation. Surveys and interviews conducted during the study show that this is possible because there is a relationship between art and education. Also, Alterotopías fulfill a bridge function which intends to understand the marked relationships by the clothing from the subjectivity, the interrelations with others intimately next and with distant ones. It proposes a peripheral way of conceiving the clothing in the fashion design, taking as a place of enunciation the reflection from the clothing artifact or what has been labeled as "fashionart", from this point the proposal is presented, it moves in four Moments: Intimacy. Umbilical. Fraternal. Décadas de 1969 y 1979(Universidad de Cuenca, 2021-12-06) Aguilar Aguilar, María Gabriela; Martínez Roldán, Paúl SebastiánThis thesis work is aimed at the critical analysis of the artistic praxis of Nelson Román, who together with his group Los Cuatro Mosqueteros burst into the Ecuadorian plastic arts with new visual proposals. In this way, a historical research was carried out to understand the social, political, economic and cultural context of Ecuador between 1930 and 1970, in order to understand the changes in aesthetics and discourses promoted by his paintings. At the same time, it was necessary to use an approximate analysis of the discourse present in the visual language of his works, where semiotics and hermeneutics mediated as a bridge for the analysis of the set of codes that derive from the social and ideological position of the artist. Likewise, a chronological survey of his creations was carried out, to then perform a critical, iconographic and iconological analysis of his artistic praxis, in which the most recurrent traces and symbols were extracted for their interpretation. Likewise, an attempt was made to highlight the symbolic, aesthetic and ideological universe in his relationship with color and graphic and aesthetic resources used by the artist to compose his language of rupture as well as of approach to the primitive, having as a base his ugly and figurative style in which he tries to conceptualize the ideas of resistance, authenticity and irony.Item Análisis Crítico de las prácticas artísticas desarrolladas durante la residencia “Franja Arte-Comunidad”, una muestra de arte relacional en Ecuador(Universidad de Cuenca, 2021-03-24) Erazo Erazo, Verónica Mercedes; Martínez Roldán, Paúl SebastiánThis research analyzes the artistic practices of the Franja Arte-Comunidad residence visualized by the Guayaquil artist Larissa Marangoni, for which it has been necessary to review the relational art approach that is given at the global, regional, and local level; to discuss several art critics who have expressed their judgment regarding the analysis of these practices that emerged in the nineties and that were focused on the sphere of human relations; to then arrive at the context where each of the residences are developed and display the importance that this management has had within contemporary art in Ecuador.Item Análisis de la cromática y los elementos morfológicos repetitivos dentro del traje típico de la chola cuencana, para su aplicación en elementos del espacio interior(Universidad de Cuenca, 2020-12-04) Medina Pons, María Amelia; Jaramillo Carrasco, David AndrésThe “Chola cuencana” traditional costume is one of the main touristic attractions in our city. Its colors and symbols are carefully applied in each piece, questioning why the application of repetitive patterns could be viable within the construction of identity without creating a fake historical item, but incorporating it as an alternative in interior design. The current graduation project is an artistic proposal based on research-creation, paying tribute to the research line of creation and production of arts and design. Its objective is to analyze the morphological elements and the chromatics repeated continuously in the “Chola cuencana” traditional costume and formed by the hat, braids, earrings, blouse, shawl (macana), skirt, and canvas shoes. It creates a pattern that becomes the matrix for creating constitutive elements of interior spaces such as floors, walls, and furniture. The morphological analysis of components that are dominantly found in the traditional costume is used as the primary resource to incorporate them in the interior space. Finally, this project shows the results obtained and applied to interior spaces of a redesign proposal for tourism offices in Cuenca and opens an alternative to use these designs in future constructions.Item Análisis de la estética del Teatro Cuencano Contemporáneo y la necesidad de una práctica crítica teatral(2022-07-01) Montalván Delgado, Edison Daniel; Ortiz Mosquera, Fidel ErnestoThis research addresses the study and analysis of the Cuenca contemporary theatrical aesthetic as a main subject that emerges from three main roots: historical, artistic discourse and aesthetic conditioning factors, that has opened a broad panorama of aesthetic forms that determined the social praxis of Cuenca ́s scene, that has developed from the second half of the XX century. The piano works by Gerardo Guevara “Three Preludes” is no exception, as there has been analyzed and no presence within the Ecuadorian piano repertoire. For this analysis has taken into account the historical, rhythmic, harmonic, melodic and conceptual aspects. Guevara in his three preludes for piano (Recitative, Albazo, San Juanito) exhibits a thought evolved from the rhythmic cells of Ecuadorians genres. Use pentatonic scale with support in the quartal harmony, a language that we might call “Guevarian language” which, as he puts it, is no longer an exaggerated nationalism folk, but a universal nationalism. We will work with an analysis of the pre-iconographic, iconographic and iconological levels proposed by Panofsky in four of the religious paintings located in the Main Church of Zaruma. The main goal of this proposal (“project”) is to generate an analysis line that allows to identify the symbolic elements and iconographic representations of the selected paintings, to understand their relationship with the Zaruma culture and with the context of religious art in general. We can appreciate a context of the musical life of the composers Naldo Campo and Héctor Jaramillo and a brief description of the rhythms: pasillo, Saltashpa and Rap, in one of his subjects as is the pasillo “El Pañuelo Blanco” and “Saltashpa – Rap”. The study objective includes the rhythms that will be treated in the structural and spatial analysis of the subjects treated. Each musical work brings with it an exclusive sound creation, easy to identify by the listener and that is part of the Ecuadorian musical tradition, giving a different approach. These musical themes have a highly relevant aesthetic and their elements in the harmony, rhythm and instrumentation of national music, through the digitalization of “El Pañuelo Blanco” and “Saltashpa – Rap”, which forms part of contemporary Ecuadorian music at the beginning of the century XXI. Dividing the present work for its better presentation in three parts. The first part, is directed to the rhythms of the pasillo, Saltashpa and Rap in its different stages, the biography of Naldo Campos and Héctor Jaramillo. In this context, consideration has been givento the phenomena of globalization, transculturation and hybridization, defined through the contribution of the various civilization that have occupied the territory, a process that has provoked a plurality of musical currents, coexist simultaneously in contemporary Ecuadorian culture.Item Análisis etnomusicológico de los cantos ujáj en la cultura tradicional shuar de la amazonía ecuatoriana(2017-10-12) Franco Cortez, Juan Carlos; Palacios Mateos, FernandoThe ujáj chants are part of the shuar traditional music, a binational indigenous tribe located in the Amazon forest, between the south-center region of Ecuador and the northwest region of Peru. They are feminine chants that were sang in different rituals associated with the tsantsa, the most important celebration of the shuar, held a few decades back. It consisted in the appropriation of the enemy’s strength through the beheading and head reduction. This paper inquires the uses and functions of the ujáj in the shuar culture and analyzes the musical structure, centered in the patterns, intervals and specially the hertz and cents measurement of the tonal heights that shows a different nature from the western music nature. Therefore, refuting the thesis that some researchers maintained that the shuar music structure is made from thre or four sounds (triphonia and/or tetrafphonia)
