Revisión bibliográfica(Universidad de Cuenca, 2021-11-15) Pinzón Rojas, Kelvin José; Llivichuzhca Coyago, Gladys Beatriz; Aldas Arcos, Helder GuillermoIn recent years, various training methods for the development of strength and muscular hypertrophy have predominated due to the benefits they present for people, for the reason a comparative analysis of the effectiveness of two training methods for the development of strength was carried, out and muscle hypertrophy. Therefore, the objective of this research is to identify and compare the results of the development of strength and muscular hypertrophy of the training of the traditional method (German) that consists of working with 60% - 85% of 1 RM and the occlusion method (kaatsu) that works with 20% of 1 RM. This research is exploratory based on a nonexperimental documentary review in which the collection, analysis and comparison of information is evidenced. Among the main methods, techniques and instruments the synthetic analytical, deductive, logical historical and documentary review were used. The information search was, carried out including scientific articles, books, theses, and digital databases. The Mendeley software hosted documents published in the last 20 years in Portuguese, English and Spanish languages. As a result, this research showed that strength, and muscle hypotrophy can be developed with the two training methods without much difference between them. However, The German method should be, used by elite athletes, while the occlusion method by people who are not athletes or who start strength training and muscle hypertrophyItem Análisis comparativo del nivel de condición física de estudiantes de primer ciclo de la carrera Pedagogía de la Actividad Física y Deporte de la Universidad de Cuenca(Universidad de Cuenca. Facultad de Filosofía, Letras y Ciencias de la Educación, 2025-10-28) Chuqui Valverde, Luis Miguel; Gutiérrez Mora, María de los Ángeles; Aldas Arcos, Helder GuillermoThis study evaluated the physical fitness level of first-year students of the Physical Activity and Sports Pedagogy program at the University of Cuenca during the 2024-2025 academic year. The EUROFIT test battery was used in two moments (beginning and end of the cycle) to determine and compare the physical performance of the students in the morning and afternoon sessions. The objective was to analyze the level of physical fitness of first-cycle students of the Physical Activity and Sports Pedagogy Career, at the University of Cuenca, in the period 2024-2025. The study has a non-experimental, descriptive and longitudinal design with a quantitative approach. 53 first-cycle students from the Physical Activity and Sports Pedagogy Program at the University of Cuenca participated. To evaluate physical condition, the EUROFIT test battery was used at two moments of the academic year (beginning and end). The application of the tests was carried out under standardized protocols, with specific materials and defined procedures. As a result, Group 2 presented homogeneous and consistent improvements in most of the tests. For its part, Group 1 showed partial progress and irregular performance, with setbacks. However, after the final evaluation, both groups maintained their level of physical fitness, at the medium level (4) of physical fitness. Finally, the study contributed to the initial physical diagnosis of the students and highlights the need for sustained strategies to improve their physical condition.Item Efecto de la implementación de un taller de capacitación de educación física para docentes de aula(Universidad de Cuenca, 2024-09-18) Orellana Fajardo, María Soledad; Torres Rodríguez, Bryam Ricardo; Aldas Arcos, Helder GuillermoIn particular, Physical Education (PE) contributes to the integral development of the human being; however, education at the national level evidences different problems that make this area lose its importance, since it detects single-teacher institutions that do not have a professional in the area of PE, being the classroom teacher who provides the PE class, presenting deficiencies in the management and implementation of the Physical Education Curriculum, as well as the use of methodologies to teach the classes. Objective: To analyze the effect of conducting a training workshop on planning and implementation of the Physical Education curriculum for classroom teachers of the EGB Agustín Crespo Heredia school in the Girón canton, San Gerardo parish, during the 2023 - 2024 school year. Methodology: A pre-experimental research design with a quantitative and longitudinal approach was implemented. The direct participants were seven male and female teachers selected through a non-probabilistic convenience sampling; likewise, the indirect participants were 86 students who make up the General Basic Education level. Results: The results of our research after the workshop showed a positive impact, because significant differences were found regarding the inclusion of methodological strategies in the planning and development of PE classes based on the Physical Education Curriculum. On the other hand, regarding the level of student satisfaction, significant differences were obtained with p<0.05, thus demonstrating that students feel totally satisfied with the PE classes after the implementation of the workshop.Item El estado de ánimo en los futbolistas titulares y suplentes del equipo de fútbol profesional Aviced fc, en etapa competitiva(Universidad de Cuenca, 2022-05-27) Camuendo Farez, Geovanny Josué; Fernández Quintero, Jonathan David; Aldas Arcos, Helder GuillermoThe present titling work focuses on revealing the mood of the players of the professional football team AVICED FC, with the purpose of comparing whether there is a clear distinction between the mood of the starting and substitute players, as well as their influence on performance. The population is made up of 180 players from the eight categories of the club, having as its main category the Promotion of Ecuadorian Football in the city of Cuenca, Ecuador, made up of 25 players between 11 starters and 14 substitutes who correspond to the study sample. The research is of a descriptive type of cross-section, with a mixed approach. The test players were evaluated using the reduced version of the Profile of Mood State, with a 38-item version that analyzes the variables tension, depression, anger, vigor, fatigue and confusion. Through the comparison and analysis of the results obtained in this study, it was possible to verify the existence of a variability between the mood and the influence on the competitive participation of the starting and substitute players in key moments of the championship. These results help coaches to create better conditions, and in this way improve the preparation and performance of players in training and competitions.Item Influencia de las actividades lúdicas innovadoras en la motivación hacia la matemática básica en las clases de Educación Física(Universidad de Cuenca, 2025-03-11) Fernández Segarra, Camila Elizabeth; Sangurima Contreras, Johmara Paola; Aldas Arcos, Helder GuillermoPhysical Education provides significant value to mathematics, since it is generated in a playfulformative environment, allowing to improve the attitude to certain learning; the objective is to evaluate the influence of innovative playful activities on the motivation towards basic mathematics in Physical Education classes in third-year students of the educational unit 01H00389 of the city of Cuenca from the year 2023-2024.
