In addition, the transcription and approximate analysis of the musical works composed by the autochthonous Cañari musicians were carried out; since there is little information about the investigations of musicians and instrument makers of the Cañari culture of the Quilloac community of the Cañar Canton. In the same way, there is a shortage of reviews that show the authors of the themes or musical rhythms that currently exist in the aforementioned community. The research techniques used are based on interviews, literature reviews, and Grebe's (1976) ethnomusicological methodology, which takes into account the object, methods, and techniques of ethnomusicological research. As a final result, we can mention that a detailed report of the compositional analysis of the Cañaris musicians was obtained, in which aspects of musical forms, melodic, rhythmic, and instrumentation analysis are approached from an approximate point through a musical score. In this work, it is determined that the possibilities for the analysis and transcription of autochthonous rhythms are feasible and very necessary, taking into account that, at present, technology allows different facilities as a tool to record the native Cañaris melodies within their sociocultural context.Item Análisis del repertorio operístico y de cámara, latinoamericano y ecuatoriano(Universidad de Cuenca.
