Item Análisis y Bitácora sobre el Concierto en SibM para fagot y orquesta(Universidad de Cuenca. Facultad de Artes, 2026-02-27) Coello Velecela, Paola Anabel; García Asitimbay, Miguel AntonioThis work, titled Analysis and Practice Journal of Concerto in Bflat Major for Bassoon and Orchestra, addresses topics that enable the technical, theoretical, and musical development of the piece. First, the conceptual theoretical foundations are established, covering the composer's biography, the historical context of the work, and the period to which it belongs. These serve as a basis for understanding the concerto and as a guide for making decisions regarding technical and interpretative matters. The structural analysis of the three movements comprising the work is also described, along with the cadenza of the first movement, following the analytical methodology of Luis Ángel De Benito and Jan LaRue. Subsequently, the structure of the practice journal is presented, mentioning the pedagogical methods used for the development of the musical work. Additionally, the study of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's Concerto in B-flat Major for Bassoon and Orchestra is described, providing concrete guidelines for optimal musical performance.Item Aplicación del Modelo Educativo Flipped Classroom en la Asignatura de Lenguaje Musical I(2016) Orellana Jadán, Tanya Cecilia; Urgilés Cárdenas, José EduardoThis work consists in the implementation of educational model Flipped Classroom focused on subject of Music Theory I, using as main tool the development of a virtual classroom. This model is based primarily on investing of master classes. That is to say, students take both theoretical and practical classes at home. Later in class, use the time to work individualized consultations, forums, among others. These activities should be based on cooperation, leadership, critical thinking and personality of students. In addition, extensive research of called Flipped Classroom, virtual classrooms and active pedagogy, taking as primary resources in the implementation of this work, for later to present results through surveys.Item Composición de cuatro obras en género bossa nova para guitarra y flauta traversa(Universidad de Cuenca, 2020-12-18) Llanos Zamora, José Napoleón; Jumbo Medina, Wilmer FermínThe Brazilian genre Bossa Nova contains relevant characteristics as for its instrumentation, social context, composers, and performers in its region of origin and Latin America. Considering these points, the present project focuses on the composition of four songs for guitar and traverse flute with the purpose of expand history information and about the compositional processes used within of genre, also as part of the completion process and education in Music School of the University of Cuenca.Item Fusión de black metal y música ecuatoriana: producción de un sencillo instrumental(Universidad de Cuenca. Facultad de Artes, 2026-03-03) Barreto Velecela, Emanuel Alejandro; Vázquez Jaramillo, David SantiagoThe Purpose of this work is to explore a process of musical creation based on the fusion between black metal and traditional Ecuadorian music, approached from composition and music production. The work is based on a thorough analysis of the musical features of both genres, considering elements such as rhythm, harmony, melody and instrumentation, in order to identify points of convergence that allows a coherent dialogue between musical genres from different cultural and aesthetic origins. From this approach, an innovative musical proposal is developed that integrates elements of traditional Ecuadorian music within a contemporary context, while preserving its identity and expressive function.Item La percusión orquestal. análisis e interpretación del repertorio seleccionado(2015) Martínez Bernal, Patricia Estefanía; Escudero Uchuari, Manuel AlejandroThe study of orchestral percussion unlike other instruments such as string or wind, have developed slowly. The twentieth century is a time of great social and artistic changes in which there is a big development of percussion instruments with the creation of new tools, techniques and sounds. Gradually this instrumental family has had an important place in the orchestra, so increasingly a lot of composers value these instruments for its variety and sounds that over time has made possible the interpretation of complex works allowing these instruments can be played solo. Despite the progress that has made percussion, in some countries like ours, both musicians and the audience, does not have a deep understanding of these instruments, so the reception is poor. For that reason this thesis project entitled ORCHESTRAL PERCUSSION: ANALYSIS AND INTERPRETATION OF THE SELECTED REPERTOIRE presents the analysis as a way of understanding the music works for percussion, helping to percussionist, other musicians and the audience to deepen their knowledge. This work with an investigation of history, organology, technique and implementation of solo repertoire and chamber music, can demonstrate the importance that have come to be the percussion instruments, making the interpretation has more significance for both, the viewer and for the artistItem Producción discográfica de un “EP” inédito de tres temas musicales para el artista "José Julián" en el género bolero(Universidad de Cuenca. Facultad de Artes, 2026-02-26) Poma Guayanay, John Jairo; Tigre Astudillo, David UlisesThis thesis documents the production and process of a musical EP, delving into the technical and artistic processes involved. Methodologically, the work is based on a typology of references: for aesthetic/musical purposes, which define artistic identity, these references may be modified in the course of this work, due to various reasons. Furthermore, the development of the work is divided into three critical stages: pre-production, focused on conceptualization, demos, arrangements, etc.; production, a stage centered on the recording and capture of each instrument present on the EP; and post-production, the final stage where the sound is sculpted through mixing and mastering. The purpose of this work is to provide a methodological and descriptive guide to the current landscape of music production, detailing the steps to follow for the production of an EP that meets professional criteria and is suitable for the music industry.
