The results of the analysis of these articles show that active pauses have positive effects on skeletal muscles disorders (MSD), relieving pain and discomfort in the main areas such as shoulders, neck and back, although there was also a discrepancy compared to articles. who mention that after a few months there were no positive effects and even some participants had a regression of these benefits despite continuing with active breaks, this is attributed to the fact that the same exercises are always repeated over a long period of time. In conclusion, active breaks are beneficial for the prevention of MSDs, but it should be taken into account that the exercises should be varied every 3 months to have long-term results.Item Análisis comparativo de hábitos alimentarios, composición corporal y condición física, entre estudiantes de bachillerato de una institución educativa urbana y rural(Universidad de Cuenca, 2024-09-12) Coronel Matute, Raúl Ismael; Jiménez Puglla, Ariel Eduardo; Contreras Calle, Wilson TeodoroIn today's educational field, the social, physical and emotional changes of students are constantly evolving, leading to changes in their eating habits, body composition and physical condition. For this reason, during adolescence it is important to detect the levels of these variables in time, in order to know the relationship between them; and based on that, to establish recommendations given by the World Health Organization (WHO) to prevent future diseases and improve the health of students. The objective of this study is to analyze the eating habits, body composition and physical condition level, among high school students of an urban and rural educational institution of the city of Cuenca in the school period 2023-2024. A total of 146 students with a mean age of 16 ± 1.5 years, belonging to an urban and rural educational institution, selected probabilistically by cluster, participated in the study. In the first instance, a food consumption frequency questionnaire was applied; after that, the high priority Alpha-Fitness battery was carried out to assess the body composition and physical condition of the students. The results obtained show a good physical condition on the part of the men and a regular level in the women; likewise, the BMI and waist circumference reported normal values. However, in terms of dietary habits, most of the participants showed an inadequate consumption of nutrients and ultra-processed foods. The 3JS Test Battery was used as an instrument to evaluate the level of coordination, using control sheets for the respective data collection. To establish differences in the coordination variable, the Mann-Whitney U test was used, since it indicates whether there is disparity or equality in the sample mean of two independent groups. With a significance level of p= 0.05, a p-value of 0.003 < 0.05 was determined, concluding that there are significant differences in the levels of coordination between the educational institutions "Federico Proaño" and "Alfonso María Borrero”. In other words, the results show that students in urban areas have better levels of coordination in relation to students in rural areas.Item Análisis comparativo entre el spinning tradicional y una batería de ejercicios sobre la bicicleta estática(2015) Jara Arias, Juan Pablo; Vintimilla Torres, Pedro Sebastian; Zhañay Cárdenas, Diego FernandoSpinning originates as a necessity for cyclists to train during bad weather conditions. For this reason, the spinner bicycle was created to help sportsmen to train indoors which also will help people to simulate what they can do on a bicycle under normal conditions. This stationary bicycles allow people to regulate the height of the sit and the handlebars according to the necessity of the user. In addition, the resistance of the wheels can also be regulated which simulates different slopes that a regular cyclist would encounter in regular conditions. These settings on the stationary bicycle allows people to have 3 different postures for the hands and 2 positions for the legs. Hence, Spinning was considered for a starting point for a comparative analysis with the proposal SEOSBI (system of exercises on a stationary bicycle with implements). This name was given to the necessity for the duration of the investigation. Finally, this research appoint the purpose of putting into practice the application of 2 meso cycles of training to show which of the two activities (spinning-Seosbi) give better results on the reduction of body fat, muscle built and the reduction of cardiac frequency.Item Análisis de la activación muscular por medio de electromiografía en función del agarre en las dominadas(Universidad de Cuenca, 2023-11-23) Camacho Cajamarca, Juan Leonel; Vidal Valencia, Tonny EfrénThis research work is a literature review with the objective of analyzing the electromyography activation of the main muscles involved in the exercise in pull ups, for which an exhaustive search was carried out and the compilation of bibliographic documents related to the subject. For the selection of articles, four digital bases were used, studies in Spanish and English. Applying the established selection criteria, a total of 6 scientific documents were selected. Through the electromyographic analysis of muscle activation, it is possible to see and make a comparison of the different types of grip analyzed in each of the documents, thus having a better understanding and knowledge of what would be the best grip to perform the exercise. In conclusion, different electromyographic analyzes of all types of grips during the pull-up exercise did not demonstrate significant differences, resulting in the only difference between prone and supine grips, which is why it is concluded that the orientation of the hand at the moment of the grip is what creates different degrees of activation in the same muscle groups.Item Análisis de la evolución de las capacidades físicas en el fútbol mediante el uso del método integral en la categoría superior del Colegio Benigno Malo; año 2016(2016) Bustos León, Iván Gabriel; Cornejo Zambrano, Andrés ManuelThe following work is a research and intervention project, called ANALYSIS OF THE EVOLUTION OF THE PHYSICAL SKILLS IN THE SOCCER GAME THROUGH THE USE OF THE INTEGRAL METHOD IN THE SUPERIOR CATEGORY FROM BENIGNO MALO HIGH SCHOOL; YEAR 2016.
