Item Análisis y propuesta de la arquitectura organizacional de la Coordinación Administrativa Financiera de la Universidad de Cuenca(Universidad de Cuenca, 2021-08-23) Serrano Cevallos, Katherine Estefanía; Mora Pacheco, Pedro FabiánA public organization is a group of people who seek a common goal, its purpose is the development of a product or the provision of a service, without profit. Therefore, it is necessary that they have an adequate Organizational Architecture, as it is the basis for their operation. In this architecture elements such as: Decision Making, Remuneration and Results Evaluation Systems are handled. It has been noted that these elements are failing in the Financial Coordination, since they have presented problems. This descriptive-analytical research, with a mixed approach, aimed to analyze and propose the Organizational Architecture of the Financial Administrative Coordination. The instruments used were a survey, a semi-structured interview and primary information. The results reflect that the decision-making variable presents drawbacks when assigning and dividing tasks, due to its way of execution. Regarding the remuneration system, it was detected that the majority of employees agree with their remuneration, but request incentives, which are not necessarily monetary. Likewise, with regard to the results evaluation system, it was known that the servers have not been evaluated regarding their performanceItem Diseño y propuesta de un modelo de gestión basado en procesos para la EMUCE EP(Universidad de Cuenca, 2021-05-27) Castillo Orbes, Klever Omar; Peralta Vallejo, Ximena KatherineIn this project, a Management Model based on Processes is proposed for the Municipal Company of Cemeteries, Room of Vigilances and Funerals of the Canton Cuenca EMUCE EP. The proposal arises from the prevailing need to provide the users / clients of the company, the products and services they require through solid, efficient, clear processes that add value. Additionally, General Management considers process management one of the critical points to work on during its management period. The development of the aforementioned project included various activities that are detailed below. In the first instance, meetings were held with the executives of the company under study to identify the current strategic direction of the organization and necessary changes were made for the implementation of the management model, among which the reform of the "Organizational Structure - Organizational Chart”. Subsequently, a diagnosis of the current situation of the company under study was carried out, in terms of process-based management. Thus, a benchmarking of the aforementioned issue was also carried out within the companies that make up the Autonomous Decentralized Government of Cuenca. This diagnosis resulted in a process inventory, process map and initial process files that were the basis for the subsequent proposal of the management model. With the detailed inputs, the proposal for the process-based management model for EMUCE EP was developed, detailing the strategic and regulatory guidance that the company must abide by and internalize for the implementation of the proposed model. Likewise, the process map and the value chain of EMUCE EP were designed, based on the inventory or definitive portfolio of processes. Once the process map, value chain and portfolio of processes had been defined, the detailed processes were standardized based on the methodology proposed by ISO 9001 and the BPM Business Process Management methodology, which resulted in the technical sheets of processes and the respective flow charts of each one of them. Finally, once all the processes had been standardized, the monitoring and control tool called Balance Score Card EMUCE EP. Was formulated, which will allow the company to maintain rigorous control and monitoring of its operations and results, in order to promote continuous improvement. and sustained within the institution.Item Evaluación del riesgo de insolvencia en el sector de publicidad y estudios de mercado de la ciudad de Cuenca en el periodo 2010 – 2018(Universidad de Cuenca, 2021-08-20) Idrovo Arias, Christian Andrés; Orellana Osorio, Iván FelipeThis work has the purpose to measure the risk of insolvency in the advertising and market research sector of the city of Cuenca in the period 2010 - 2018; to provide a tool that helps the company management complement the decision-making process. External factors of the sector were analyzed by conducting a PEST analysis. A diagnosis of the financial health of the company and the sector was elaborated, taking into account the calculation of the indicators of liquidity, indebtedness, profitability and efficiency or activity. As of 2018, the financial situation of the company has improved compared to its previous years, while the trends in the sector indicators are negative. Subsequently, the insolvency risk calculations were made based on the Altman and Ohlson models, with which the information could be contrasted to obtain accurate data. The results of this analysis showed that the sector is solid, it is not likely to fall into insolvency in the short term and in the same way the company has managed to leave the risk zone and place itself in a situation similar to the sectorItem Propuesta de un sistema de gestión logístico para la minimización de costos de distribución de producto terminado para la Empresa Cartonera de Cuenca para el período 2009-2018(Universidad de Cuenca, 2021-05-18) Mejía Peralta, Doménica María; Peralta Vallejo, Ximena KatherineThe present project, gives a brief and generalized idea of the current situation of the country’s manufacturing sectors, mainly, cardboard sector and its situation in the city of Cuenca. Subsequently, the structure of the company is shown and detailed. A theoretical support is provided in the first chapter, which the reader can find basic and specific definitions, very important for the entire understanding of this work. There is a logistical analysis of the current situation of the company. Its finished product distribution system is described, detecting its failings in every stage that comprises it. In addition, a transportation costs analysis for the period 2009-2018, was made, offering a general and approximate perspective of the money that the company spent wasting the maximum capacity of the vehicles throughout this period. This situation is measured through rates that directly analyzes the use and non-use of vehicle capacity, costs and the efficiency of the company in transport management. In the last chapter, a solution is offered to the shortcomings that were previously diagnosed, a new logistics management system for the distribution of finished products is proposed, in which new rates are offered, a new vehicle classification for the allocation criteria for shipping of orders and also a simple volumetric system that allows identifying the ideal position of the packages to make the most of the capacity of the vehicles when sending orders. Finally, it proposes rates that will measure the most important aspects of transportation, such as: use and non-use, costs and efficiency of the company.
