Item Niveles de depresión en hombres y mujeres adictos internos en un Centro de Rehabilitación en Cuenca(2019-03-12) Lazo Crespo, Verónica Andrea; Carrasco Vintimilla, Juana LucíaThe present bachelor thesis analyzed depression levels in addicted men and women inpatient in the rehabilitation center in Cuenca. Its main objective was to measure the levels of depression within this population. This research was carried out under a quantitative and transversal methodology of non-experimental modality and of correlational scope. To achieve the objectives set, the information collection process was carried out by applying a sociodemographic survey and the Hamilton scale for depression, which determined the levels of depression of the participants. The study group consisted of 64 individuals, in which 33 were men and 31 were addicted women in the CETAD 12 PASOS rehabilitation center, whose ages ranged between 18 and 63 years. When analyzing the results, it was found that depression in the addicted population is related to a greater extent to the severe level, the highest levels of depression are present in the male sex. Similarly, high rates of depression were found in addicts who reported having lost their partner. Regarding labor role, the highest levels of this disorder were located in the working population. Regarding age, level of education and substance consumption, no statistically significant relationship was found. Finally, it was found that the population was multiconsumidora, placing alcohol, marijuana and cocaine as the most consumed drugs.Item Resiliencia en pacientes adictos internos en centros de atención terapéutica de la ciudad de Cuenca(2018) Jiménez Avila, Yalitza Gabriela; Matute Jaramillo, Diego Fernando; Webster Cordero, Felipe EdmundoThe human being is immersed in a society of constant changes that have impeded an adequate psychological, social and emotional development, which are important for the individual to remain stable and healthy in his life. The topic about addiction to psychotropic substances has increased on a large scale, generating consequences in the individual, however, there are factors that allow a person to develop positively in the personal and social despite living these situations. One of these factors is the resilience, it manifests as the ability to face the adversities of life and handle them properly. For this reason, the present research proposed a study about resilience in drug addicts, with the objective of identify the level of resilience in people addicted to substances, intern in therapeutic care centers of the city of Cuenca, considering sociodemographic factors as the age, type substance, instruction level, etc. The research was of a quantitative and descriptive approach through the use of a sociodemographic record and the resilience scale of Wagnild and Young in 1993; and it was carried out in three therapeutic care centers in the city of Cuenca. The population consisted of 73 people in total only male sex from 18 to 65 years of age. The results of the research showed that, of the 73 people who participated in the study, 16 showed high levels of resilience in general and 58 young adults who had medium high levels of resilience.Item Soledad y aislamiento en adolescentes que usan redes sociales(2018) García Asitimbay, Andrea Estefanía; León Merino, Esteban Fernando; Abril Mogrovejo, Felipe AdrianoThe purpose of this research was to identify levels of loneliness and isolation in 394 male and female adolescents between the ages of 15 and 18 who use social networks. The study was conducted with the population of the following educational institutions: "Unidad Educativa Turi" and "Colegio Técnico Industrial Ricaurte", which belong to the rural area of the Cuenca canton. This study maintained a quantitative, non-experimental, cross-sectional approach, with a descriptive scope that allowed detailing the variables of the study object. The instruments used in the research were the solitude and isolation questionnaire (CAS) and the social network addiction questionnaire (ARS). The data collection was carried out in the educational institutions and their subsequent analysis in an SPSS matrix. The results show that most adolescents use social networks every day for at least one hour. Likewise, it was found that there is a high risk of addiction to social networks and low risk of presenting loneliness and isolation. In conclusion, it was shown that adolescents who presented a high risk of addiction to social networks also show a tendency towards loneliness
