Item Percepción de comportamientos considerados como acoso sexual en el ámbito académico en estudiantes de la carrera de Psicología Clínica en prácticas preprofesionales, Universidad de Cuenca, Azuay período 2021(Universidad de Cuenca, 2022-04-18) Chuchuca Pérez, Javier Patricio; Sigüenza Durán, Daniela Catalina; Conforme Zambrano, Elsa GardeniaSexual harassment is the set of unwanted sexual behaviors, among the types are physical, verbal and non-verbal behaviors. Victims may perceive this situation as threatening and also provoke feelings of guilt, fear, shame or discomfort. It can occur in different contexts such as the public, private, work, academic space and, in turn, harms the performance of the victims according to the context in which this act occurs. It is important to know how sexual harassment is perceived by students who are in professional training and therefore, the general objective that guided the research was to determine the sexual harassment perceived by students of preprofessional practices of the Clinical Psychology career and the specific objectives were identify the subdimension of sexual harassment with predominant scores according to the sociodemographic variables of sex and level of pre-professional practices and identify the behaviors perceived as sexual harassment with predominant values according to the subdimensions of the instrument. A quantitative, descriptive, cross-sectional approach was used. For data collection, the Scale of Sexual Harassment and Social Interaction with sexual content in the university environment (EASI - U) was used. As a result, it was found that students have a tendency towards low scores in the perception of sexual harassment and according to the gender variable, women have a tendency to have higher scores compared to men; and in terms of the level of internships, third-level students perceive more harassment than first-level students. Finally, it is concluded that there is a low perception of sexual harassment in the academic field in the pre-professional internship students of the Faculty of Psychology.
