For this, students of Basic Higher Education at the San Joaquín Educational Unit of the Cuenca-Ecuador canton were taken as a case study. The mixed type methodology was applied, the scope of the research being descriptive. In himself, it was possible to analyze that gender stereotypes directly infer the way in which the study group assumes and lives their sexuality, due to the perpetuation of ideals around feelings, attachment and sexual experience. Finally, it could be seen that gender stereotypes are constructed in equal measure about the sexes, however, they respond to different patterns, since, on the figure of the male, behaviors and active experiences are naturally associated within their sexuality, unlike women, who are built on the ideal of passive and caring femininity in relation to what they can or should do around their sexual lifeItem Percepción de los adolescentes de 16 y 17 años del Distrito de Educación D1D02, zona 6, parroquia Baños de la ciudad de Cuenca sobre los derechos humanos, el uso del cuerpo, la corresponsabilidad y la libertad de expresión: análisis desde una mirada feminista(Universidad de Cuenca, 2022-07-25) Serrano Tapia, Marcela Tatiana; Paño Yáñez, Pablo JoséThe gender approach reflects on how the relationships between the masculine and the feminine are oriented in the social, personal, political and family entorne. This investigation attempts to identify if there are changes in the way in which adolescents between the ages of 16 and 17 are viewed, defined and related within zone 6, District 01D02 of the Baños, Cuenca, Province of Azuay, under the following research question: Is there a perception of the influence of feminist discourse that may have marked the changes that have occurred in the management of Human Rights, the use of the body, freedom of expression and the co-responsibility in adolescents from 16 to 17 years old? To answer this question, a mixed research process has been generated through a survey with adolescents and a results discussion group with experts. The first process shows that inequality and its conditions limit the ability to establish healthy relationships and sharpen dual behaviors that can be naturalized and conceived as their own and accepted. The results obtained in this research show that there is an impact on the female population that looks their professional and intellectual opportunities modified and valued; likewise, it is evident that there is a positive impact on sexual identification and the elimination of gender stereotypes. The lack of knowledge about equity, the processes of coexistence and healthy dialogues with their parents and the sensitivity to processes of change that have modified the male population, are issues that must be worked on. In the same way, introduce historical processes in the academy regarding knowledge and awareness of feminist struggles to reduce the breakdown of equals in order to rebuild their life plans to ones that are more supportive and solid with the environment.Item Roles y estereotipos de género como barrera para las masculinidades positivas en adolescentes de la Unidad Educativa “Luis Roberto Bravo” en el año 2022-2023(Universidad de Cuenca, 2023-03-07) Morocho Yanza, Viviana Lisseth; Gutiérrez Molina, Blanca EsperanzaThe present investigation on the roles and gender stereotypes as a barrier to the exercise of positive masculinities in adolescents of the Educational Unit "Luis Roberto Bravo" during the period 2022-2023, is carried out, due to the need to identify the role that they have played. played the roles, behaviors, attitudes and actions that have been raised as stereotypes by society, to men.
