Item Análisis de los niveles de Actividad Física y Autoeficacia motriz en un programa lúdico de alta intensidad en las clases de educación física(Universidad de Cuenca, 2024-09-16) Caldas Uyaguari, Israel Sebastián; Pinduisaca Minchala, Erika Lisseth; Varela Solano, Ramiro XavierThe objective of the present study is to analyze the levels of physical activity and motor self- efficacy of a high-intensity playful program applied in adolescents of the Unidad Educativa Fiscomisional San Roque during physical education classes. The study corresponds to a non- probabilistic quasi-experimental design with descriptive approach to evaluate the variables physical activity levels and self-efficacy as a function of gender and educational sub-level. The sample consisted of 61 students (26 women and 35 men), with a mean age of 14.82 ± 1.17 years, distributed in ninth and tenth grades of Educación General Básica, and first and second grade of Bachillerato General Unificado. The program lasted 8 weeks and was carried out in a physical education class (45 minutes) per week. Each session was observed using the System for Observing Fitness Instruction Time in Physical Education and the Motor Self- Efficacy questionnaire was applied at the end of the program. The results indicate the prevalence of active behaviors in 78.45% and a significant association with gender (p=0.02728), the average contribution to Moderate and Vigorous Physical Activity is 12,55 minutes (78.45%). Males showed significantly higher motor self-efficacy scores than females with a difference of 3.74 units (p=0.00297). These findings highlight the effectiveness of the high-intensity playful program in promoting adequate levels of physical activity and provides an empirical basis for improving physical education strategies aimed at promoting active and healthy lifestyles in school settings.
