Item Frecuencia del Síndrome de Burnout en educadores de centros especiales. Cuenca, 2016(2017-11-11) Quinteros Tenesaca, Johanna Katherine; Rodas Álvarez, María Cristina; Clavijo, María Isabel; Pesántez Díaz, Tania LorenaBackground Burnout Syndrome is considered as an organism’s long stress response to stressful factor sat emotional and interpersonal levels due to labor load, this could include chronic fatigue and negation to what had happened. Considering that this procedure can cause serious health problems, in consequence of the occupational stress assumed by the person, it is important making in our environment a study that will evidence the degree of affection, even more, when there are not studies about this syndrome in teachers of Special Centers in our city. Objective Determine the frequency of Burnout Syndrome in teachers of Special Centers. Methodology The investigation had a descriptive, transcendental character, the population where 60 persons who worked at Special Centers in Cuenca, which had filled the test Maslach Burnout Inventory (MBI). The data was tabulated using the program SPSS version 20, Microsoft Excel and Word 2013, the analysis techniques were frequencies and the outcome was expressed using charts and statistical graphics with the data obtained with the tests. Results To be correlate with the data, we could observe that males presented a High Burnout Level against females. Also, we could show up that the people aging 23 to 30 presented a Low Burnout Level, and the population between 46 to 53 years old presented a High Burnout Level. As well it could be shown that teachers who work longer than five years present a High Burnout, while teacher who had worked less than a year had a Low Burnout
