Item Beneficios sobre la salud derivados del uso de la bicicleta, frente a la contaminación ambiental y la pandemia SARS CoV-2. Revisión bibliográfica(Universidad de Cuenca, 2021-07-27) Jara Lupercio, Walter Josué; Dunia Pauta, Mateo Andrés; Cobos Bermeo, Nelson AlbinoThe SARS CoV-2 pandemic has provided an opportunity to show the importance of bikes use in society due to the social, economic and environmental impacts attributed to it. Being the ideal means of transport in the sustainable development of cities. Thus, the objective of the present work focuses on analyzing the health benefits derived from the use of bicycles in the pandemic (SARSCoV-2) and its effect on environmental pollution. For this purpose, a bibliographic search of several documents published between 2010 and 2020 has been carried out, including scientific articles, newspaper articles, theses, books and websites of local, national and global organizations. Using Mendeley and Scribbr to filter, organize and structure the information. The analysis of the information was based on three parameters: critical reflection, frequency of occurrence of words in a text and co-citation analysis. Among the results, during the pandemic time, the use of bikes became more important with an increase 700%, used mainly for transportation and physical activity, improving cardio respiratory capacity. Particulate matter (PM) pollution has been reduced by up to 12% with the cessation of vehicular traffic and industry. Cycle-inclusive policies will condition the permanence and success of bicycle use over time (post pandemic).Item Características y comparaciones morfológicas en las bailarinas de ballet de los diferentes niveles del Conservatorio “José María Rodríguez” de la ciudad de Cuenca(Universidad de Cuenca, 2020-02-06) Pauta Guzmán, Karina Gabriela; Cobos Bermeo, Nelson AlbinoThe bodily forms and morphological differences of ballet dancers leads to having a critical, technical and corporal appearance that is a fundamental part of their artistic performance, so an investigation is proposed with the aim of determining the Morphological characteristics and comparisons in the Ballerinas Ballet of the different levels of the Conservatory "José María Rodríguez" of the City of Cuenca. To determine the body shape of the dancers, a cross-sectional descriptive study was carried out, for the measurements following the internationally validated anthropometric protocol of “ISAK” and the Heath - Carter somatotype method was used. The statistical analysis was performed using Excel and the statistical program SPSS in its version 20 for Windows. 49 female ballet student dancers with an age range between 11 and 19 years old were studied anthropometrically, predominantly the age group of 14 to 16 years with 27 dancers, the educational level with the highest proportion of dancers was the average level with 19. The highest mean BMI was that of the upper level 20.77 ± 2.32 kg / m2, the CCI was similar in all the groups evaluated 0.76 ± 0.3cm, the IEQ was higher in the middle level 101, 96 ± 11.25cm, similar to the relative E 102.77 ± 5.04cm, the highest percentage of fat was observed in high school 18.04 ± 2.78cm and the muscular percentage in the upper level 16.11 ± 1, 24cm An endomesomorph predominance was observed for the middle, upper and high school levels.Item Determinar las lesiones deportivas producidas en los entrenamientos de atletismo categoría prejuvenil en Cañar(Universidad de Cuenca, 2020-09-18) Valencia Porozo, Edwin Eduardo; Cobos Bermeo, Nelson AlbinoThe discipline of athletics is a sporting activity that requires the continuous repetition of certain motor actions to reach the mastery of the technical gesture, by periodically working this movement can entail a risk due to the appearance of injuries that prevent progression and continuation in daily work of the athlete. The research aimed to “Determine the most frequent injuries produced in athletics during the field and track tests, Pre youth category, in the Cañar Sports Federation, 2018”. The study was observational, descriptive, cross-sectional; with a sample of 30 active athletes from the Azogues canton who met the necessary criteria for this investigation. According to the results obtained, we observed that 60% of the athletes presented injuries in training, the women had a higher prevalence (75%) during the study, the injury with the highest incidence was muscle contracture (45.24%) in the thigh area (26%). The modality of medium background and obstacles represented a higher prevalence of injuries (57.14%); It was observed that the main part of the training session had greater recurrence (73.81%) of injuries and the increase in work intensity was the main factor of the same (33.33%). In addition, there was a greater predominance of lesions at the beginning of the microcycles (28.57%). In conclusion, it is vitally important to know the main variables that can make an athlete susceptible to having a sports injury in his technical and physical preparation.Item Determinar los efectos de la hipoxia en el rendimiento físico en atletas de diferentes disciplinas de atletismo(Universidad de Cuenca, 2022-05-20) Reyes Pérez, David Franklin; Cobos Bermeo, Nelson AlbinoAt present, there is a growing interest in describing the physiological conditions that change or improve during training at high altitudes. As a result, it has led to specific areas of research, where multiple benefits have been observed, including improvements in athletic performance. The objective of this work is to determine the effects of hypoxia on physical performance with a focus on the discipline of athletics. The methodology applied in the present work is a bibliographic review, it is based on articles subtracted from scientific research works and theoretical bases of training in hypoxia that are consulted from bibliographic digital bases such as Google academic, 1Library Dialnet, Springer Link and DOAJ, to In the search for articles, Boolean operators will be used covering related terms such as: hypoxic training, athletics, physical performance, training in altitude, the articles will be transferred to the Mendeley software to point out important points and make a synthesis, after the bibliographic investigation it will be carried out a summary table of the works used for this topic. The results collected from scientific works show that, training in a hypoxic environment, athletes will have acute and important adaptations at the musculoskeletal, cardiovascular and metabolic level, reaching the conclusion that it will lead to an improvement in sports performance; Since, the body's metabolism adapts to greater efforts to increase: the heart rate, improves the mechanism of red blood cell production, increases oxygen transport, lactic acid accumulates in greater quantities when exposed to a hypoxic state, reducing alveolar CO2 and increasing blood volume in the capillaries of the lungsItem Efecto de la propiocepción en el gesto técnico snatch y clean and jerk en practicantes de CrossFit(Universidad de Cuenca, 2022-04-01) Calle Brito, Pedro Alexander; Fernández Caizatasig, David Andrés; Cobos Bermeo, Nelson AlbinoProprioception plays an important role both in balance and in the coordination of the different sport gestures. The proprioceptive intervention in CrossFit training linked to Olympic lifting is determined. Thus, the objective of this research is to determine the effect of proprioception in the execution of the snatch and clean and jerk in people who practice CrossFit. The methodology of this research is quantitative, allowing the collection and analysis of numerical data, it presents an experimental design with pre and post analysis during a total of 8 weeks of intervention. The population is determined by attendees to the medical sports center and is made up of a sample of 10 people. The generation of a hypothesis and a Wilcoxon test will determine the effect of proprioception. The results of the data collection of both time and questionnaires present similarities in the pre and post intervention. However, significant changes are evidenced in the execution of the exercise, determining the effect of proprioception. The times T5 and T6 with a statistical analysis show a significant change in the execution, improving the barbell height and fit, demonstrating a technical execution with the decrease of the required distances. Therefore, this work shows the effect of proprioception generated in the technical gesture of the execution of both snatch and clean and jerk.Item Efecto de un programa de actividad física en la condición física y el estado de ánimo del adulto mayor de la ciudad de Cuenca(Universidad de Cuenca, 2023-02-16) Cedeño Guadamud, Emily Shirley; Marca Rojas, Juan Carlos; Cobos Bermeo, Nelson AlbinoThe Covid-19 pandemic was an event that triggered a number of short and long term consequences, particularly the physical and psychological state of older adults.
