Item Acercamiento analítico musical al repertorio discográfico de la agrupación folklórica chordelense Sangre Criolla, período 1992-2018(Universidad de Cuenca, 2021-09-07) Serrano Idrovo, José David; Alvarado Delgado, Jannet EmperatrizThe present research work took place in Chordeleg which is a town that belongs to the province of Azuay in Ecuador. This investigation work is based on the knowledge acquired in the musical area of the folk group “Sangre Criolla”. It is important to mention that this musical group belongs and lives in this place. In this context, the degree work entitled "Musical analytical approach to the record repertoire of the chordelense group Sangre Criolla, period 1992-2018" was proposed. For this study, the sociocultural environment, history, musical trajectory of the group and its contribution to the national repertoire have been considered; Likewise, technical transcriptions of various themes from his discography were elaborated, detailing melodic and harmonic fragments of each one. Based on this information, a theoretical-practical work is developed whose objective is to provide an academic contribution to Ecuadorian music.Item Análisis de las composiciones de músicos cañaris del siglo XX: José María Guamán Pichazaca, José Santiago Guamán Pichazaca y Pedro Pichazaca Mayancela(Universidad de Cuenca, 2023-09-29) Parra Pastuisaca, José Luis; Alvarado Delgado, Jannet EmperatrizThe present project of qualification called, "Analysis of the Compositions of the Cañari Musicians of the 20th Century: José María Guamán Pichazaca, José Santiago Guamán Pichazaca, and Pedro Pichazaca Mayancela", aims to recover and select the compositions of the aforementioned musicians for their enhancement. In addition, the transcription and approximate analysis of the musical works composed by the autochthonous Cañari musicians were carried out; since there is little information about the investigations of musicians and instrument makers of the Cañari culture of the Quilloac community of the Cañar Canton. In the same way, there is a shortage of reviews that show the authors of the themes or musical rhythms that currently exist in the aforementioned community. The research techniques used are based on interviews, literature reviews, and Grebe's (1976) ethnomusicological methodology, which takes into account the object, methods, and techniques of ethnomusicological research. As a final result, we can mention that a detailed report of the compositional analysis of the Cañaris musicians was obtained, in which aspects of musical forms, melodic, rhythmic, and instrumentation analysis are approached from an approximate point through a musical score. In this work, it is determined that the possibilities for the analysis and transcription of autochthonous rhythms are feasible and very necessary, taking into account that, at present, technology allows different facilities as a tool to record the native Cañaris melodies within their sociocultural context.Item Análisis del repertorio operístico y de cámara, latinoamericano y ecuatoriano(Universidad de Cuenca. Facultad de Artes, 2012-11-11) Duchimaza Cabrera, Fanny Cumandá; Alvarado Delgado, Jannet EmperatrizItem Composición de tres obras musicales para voces blancas con acompañamiento instrumental(Universidad de Cuenca, 2021-10-20) Ruque Yunga, Edisson Adrián; Alvarado Delgado, Jannet EmperatrizThis work deals with the creation of three musical compositions for white voices in genres belonging to Latin American music; for this, the origin and development of the three genres to be used have been briefly addressed: the Cuban son, the Argentine tango and the tone of the Cuencan child. In addition, general parameters on white voices have been gathered, such as: extension, phrasing, and dynamics, among others; which will help the composition of the works. Finally, there is a basic instrumentation of each genre, which enriches each of the compositions musically. Finally, it can be noted that the objective of this work is to contribute to the repertoire for white voices, in addition to contributing to the dissemination of Latin American music.Item Creación de cuatro obras utilizando la fusión de elementos rítmicos y armónicos de géneros universales y ecuatorianos(Universidad de Cuenca, 2021-10-21) Jimbo Velez, Olger Rolando; Alvarado Delgado, Jannet EmperatrizThroughout history, music has changed, fused, adaptedand resurfaced in new musical genres. In Ecuador, at the time of the Spanish conquest, the music of the Incas (such as the yaraví), which more than an artistic expression was part of different rituals; it merged with European music. This miscegenation hasnot stopped and continues today with new musical genres. The present work aims at the creation of four musical works, using the fusion of rhythmic and harmonic elements of various genres of popular music including traditional Ecuadorian; cumbia with yaraví, rock with albazo, reggae with sanjuanito and ballad with tonada. It was necessary to use bibliographical data sheets to propose a definition of popular music and the historical context of Ecuadorian genres plus the explanation and application of the methodology of Jean La Rue (1989) for the analysis of compositions. The result obtained was the composition of four musical themes that have forms and styles of popular music in both foreign and Ecuadorian genres with their own style. In conclusion, it meant the creation of musical works that serve as an aesthetic and methodological guide for future compositions that make use of the fusion of universal and traditional Ecuadorian styles and genres.
