Ltda.(Universidad de Cuenca, 2021-06-15) Pacheco García, Henry Xavier; Álvarez Palomeque, Lourdes XimenaMusculoskeletal disorders (MSD) represent one of the main causes of work related diseases, which is why their study is increasingly frequent and important. Various types of tools have been developed and processes have been standardized in the search to reduce the impact of work activities on the health of workers, particularly in the field of ergonomics. The objective of this research work is to identify and evaluate the mechanical and ergonomic risk factors in the winemakers of the company Car Soundvision Cía. Ltda. The study is descriptive, cross-sectional, non-experimental and with a quantitative approach, in which standardized instruments were applied to measure the exposure of workers to mechanical and ergonomic risk factors, such as: triple criteria matrix, NIOSH and RULA methods, Snook and Ciriello tables, and William Fine method. Among the main results, it was obtained that the winemakers are exposed to various ergonomic and mechanical risks, due to the lifting of manual loads. The study allowed to conclude that entrapment by or between objects is a risk factor and represents a high degree of danger in product storage and dispatch tasks, while also repetitive tasks and forced positions increase the risk of musculoskeletal injuryItem Prevalencia de trastornos musculo-esqueléticos por levantamiento de cargas. Caso: distribución de cilindros de gas licuado de petróleo en la CEM Austrogas(2019-06-04) Quizhpi Cajamarca, Jaime Leonardo; Álvarez Palomeque, Lourdes XimenaErgonomics in recent years has increased its impact in the business world, ergonomics-quality-productivity are interdependent variables that together constitute a strength. Musculoskeletal disorders, on the other hand, are some of the health problems at work and cause of absence in the same, with economic repercussions for the worker, the company and the State. The main objective of this study is to determine the prevalence of musculoskeletal disorders due to the lifting of loads in the distribution of LPG in cylinders of 15Kg. The applied method was a descriptive, observational, analytical cross-sectional design. The simple calculated was of 47 distributors linked to the Austrogas Mixed Economy Company and the methodology included the identification of the process, the initial risk assessment, the application of a Bio data questionnaire, the Standardized Nordic questionnaire of musculoskeletal symptoms, and the evaluation ergonomics by applying the NIOSH equation (National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health) for manual lifting of loads. The data were analyzed in the IBM SPSS Statistics 24 Software and to determine the relationship between the variables, two statistical tests were used: T test of a sample and Chi square, with an IC 95% confidence level. Finally, the results obtained indicate that 96% of the study simple presents discomforts of musculoskeletal type, being attributed in 72% to the weight of the cylinders and 62% to the forced postures. The most affected parts of the body are: in 49% the dorsal or lumbar area, in 34% the shoulders and in 30% the elbows or forearms. What allows to determine the prevalence of musculoskeletal disorders due to the lifting of loads.Item Propuesta para la creación de una bolsa de resíduos sólidos del sector industrial del cantón Cuenca(2010) Álvarez Palomeque, Lourdes Ximena; García Alvear, Nancy BeatrizItem Síndrome de Burnout en docentes de escuelas fiscales unidocentes, bidocentes y pluridocentes del cantón Sigsig(Universidad de Cuenca, 2019-12-02) Nugra Loja, David Alejandro; Álvarez Palomeque, Lourdes XimenaIt is known that occupational stress and Burnout syndrome have negative impacts that affect health and work performance, and that despite this they have been poorly studied. The purpose of this paper is to show the presence of Burnout syndrome in teachers who belong to basic general education schools of uni-teacher, bi-teacher and pluri-teacher typology concentrated in the Sigsig canton, the study population reaches about 68 teachers regardless of their gender and age, to the data collection used the Maslach Burnout Inventory MBI questionnaire. In the present work, in order to demonstrate the presence of Burnout syndrome, in a population of 68 teachers from unitary and multicultural schools belonging to the Sigsig canton, the Maslach Burnout Inventory MBI Questionnaire was used. The descriptive study, with retrospective directionality, revealed a low prevalence of Burnout syndrome. Emotional fatigue was the most affected Burnout dimension with 20%. A direct relationship between Burnout syndrome and factors such as gender and age could not be verified, but it was evident that certain teachers recorded at least one dimension of the affected Burnout syndrome, so. Having cases of teachers with dimensions with high scores, we proceeded to look for some association with their demographic factors, but their statistical analysis did not reveal any association. Despite this it was noted that the female gender has higher percentages of dimensions with signs of Burnout. The presence of "average" scores in the dimensions of Burnout reveal a possible impact on health and well-being due to current working conditions, which guides them to analyze them and propose changes that reverse this reality and prevent it in the future. It is also considered that the results obtained with regard to Burnout syndrome do not reflect the real situation of schools of uni-teacher and pluri-teacher, either due to a small study population and / or lack of honesty of the participants in solving the questionnaire.
