| Abstract: | Cities are not just the stage where life takes place, but public spaces such as streets, sidewalks, or parks, and squares welcome countless interactions that occur, not only among the individuals who inhabit them, but also among them and the norms that are imposed by local governments. This issue has been the subject of debate in the social sciences during the last decades of the 20th century and the firsts of the 21th. However, this situation has rarely been evaluated from the perspective of young population. This is why this research aims to problematize ―from point of view of hip-hop culture of Cuenca― the heritage situation of the cities designated as such, by analyzing the relationships, tensions and perceptions that are created in public places such as Parque Calderón. |
| Description: | Las ciudades no solo son el escenario donde transcurre la vida, sino que espacios públicos como calles, veredas o plazas y parques acogen un sinnúmero de encuentros y desencuentros que ocurren, no solo entre los individuos que los habitan, sino entre ellos y las normas que se imponen desde los gobiernos locales. Este tema ha sido materia de debate en las ciencias sociales durante las últimas décadas del siglo XX y las primeras del XXI, sin embargo, pocas veces se ha evaluado esta situación a partir la mirada de la población joven. Es por esto que esta investigación desea problematizar, desde la cultura urbana hip-hop de Cuenca, la coyuntura patrimonial de las urbes designadas como tal, mediante el análisis de las relaciones, tensiones y percepciones que se crean en sitios públicos como el Parque Calderón. |
