| es_ES |
dc.description.abstract | Physical and numerical modeling is an essential tool for validation and identification of parameters and possible problems, which a hydraulic exploitation in a natural channel is subjected. This research project focuses on hydrodynamic analysis and transport capacity of sediments from the Calabí River with numerical modulation, aiming to analyze the flow behavior and the effects it causes in the fluviomorphology of the river, the implementation of an intake system. To carry out this project, various models will be used including: hydrodynamic models, solid transport models, and turbulence models. A two-dimensional scheme was used for the project due to the characteristics of the river. The equations used for the construction of the model are the two-dimensional Saint- Venant equation, the Exner equation for the sediment continuity, the transport formula of Meyer-Peter & Müller, and the turbulent Prandtl model. From this, the operation of the intake is verified, it is determined that there are no significant problems in the river caused by the incorporation of the intake system and the need for the addition of three breakwaters walls checks to avoid stagnation zone. The numerical model used for the simulations is Iber. | es_ES |
