Estudio comparativo de metodologías de manejo de riesgo, aplicadas en viviendas catalogadas como var A en el sector de San Roque de la ciudad de Cuenca

Abstract

Several studies supported by organizations responsible for preserving cultural heritage as: UNESCO (Cultural Organization, Education and Science of the United Nations); ICCROM (International Centre for the Study of the Preservation and Restoration of Cultural Property); NCPI (National Institute of Cultural Heritage) provide letters, laws, methodologies for intervention processes. However, in the risk identifying area, threats and vulnerabilities, there is still subjectivity in the analysis that is why there are publications around the world to suggest methods for the detection of damage. The objective of this thesis is to study 4 Damage Management Manuals for comparison through the application of each of them in a housing estate, categorized as VAR A (high cultural heritage value) in the city of Cuenca, specifically in the area of San Roque. The documents that will be aplied will be: Risk management for Heritage Sites, applied to the case study of the city of Petra, the study of Guglielmo de Angelis d’Ossat, author of Methodical Approach Restoration of Historical Architecture, the Manual disaster and risk management for World Heritage, published by UNESCO, and finally the consulting done for the INPC, Manuals preventive conservation applied to archaeological sites and architectural sections. Through the application of these inputs in the house of study will be possible to analyze and understand the process of each manual to determine which of these documents is the most appropriate to apply in Cuenca.
