Abstract
Abstract This research work analyzes the lexical-semantic procedures in juvenile jargon, as well as the areas of generational (in) communication. Through this academic study, it is intended to show and rescue the Quichua terms in the daily communication of the young people from Cuenca, describing its lexical-semantic origin for the etymological knowledge and its resignifications in the current jargon linguistic repertoire. The results suggest semantic changes from rhetorical figures, wich means the Quichuisms are present in youth jargon and bring about a contemporary intercultural connection.
Resumen
Este trabajo de investigación analiza los procedimientos léxico-semánticos en la jerga juvenil, así como las zonas de (in) comunicación generacional. A través de ello se pretende evidenciar y rescatar los términos quichuas en la comunicación diaria de los jóvenes de Cuenca, describiendo su procedencia léxico-semántica para el conocimiento etimológico y resignificaciones de los mismos en el actual repertorio lingüístico jergal. Los resultados sugieren cambios semánticos a partir de figuras retóricas, es decir, los quichuismos están presentes en la jerga juvenil y provocan un vínculo intercultural contemporáneo.
