Item El acceso a la información pública como medio de participación ciudadana y control social(2016) Pintado Auquilla, Verónica Magaly; Méndez Álvarez, Álvaro JavierThe Organic Law of Transparency and Access to Public Information, is the legal body that recognizes and regulates the Right of Access to Public Information, as well that since the validity of the current Constitution of the Republic in 2008, the Right of Access to Public Information, is elevated to legal guarantee, further strengthening this important right. Internationally, the right of access to public information is considered as a fundamental human right, also it is one of the mechanisms that payable on the exercise of the rights of citizen participation and social control essential in a democratic state. The Organic Law of Transparency and Access to Public Information, provides two mechanisms to exercise the Right of Access to Public Information: firstly an administrative procedure; and secondly an judicial process. The current Constitution guarantees the right of citizens' access to information, conceived this as the power of every individual to know and access all information arising or that encentre held by the institutions , agencies, entities and legal persons public and private law with state participation or are concessionaires of this right. However, although the Organic Law of Transparency and Access to Public Information has been in force for more than 11 years, he has not fully achieved its objectives and does not fully guarantee the legally protected because there is still a culture of secrecy in the State.Item Adaptación – inadaptación al proceso de divorcio-separación, mediante aplicación del cuestionario CAD-S, Instituto de Criminología de la Universidad de Cuenca, junio – noviembre 2018(2018) Panza Tacuri, Mercy Patricia; Guzmán Jiménez, Alfonsina del RocíoThe breaking of the conjugal bond or subsystem entails changes in the development of the life cycle, both in the parental subsystem and in the subsidiary subsystem, influences the dynamics of the family, in the relationships between each of the members, in the management and reorganization of the home, among others. The purpose of the present investigation was to identify the specific characteristics of the adaptation-inadaptation that are presented in the divorce-separation process. The present study was transversal, descriptive. The Adaptation to Divorce-Separation Questionnaire was used in a sample of 30 people, ranging in age from 18 to 60 years, regardless of sex. The results show that 70% of the separated persons presented maladjustment before the separation-divorce process. 20% of men are willing to share a co-parenting with their ex-partner, while 57% of the men surveyed do not take responsibility for the education and upbringing of their children, which generates conflicts due to non-compliance with parental roles, Disability to coparentality causing difficulties in the economy to support children, and negative consequences for children such as poor school performance. It is a descriptive research that allowed us to know the situation of these two vulnerable groups. For the collection of information, a sociodemographic survey, the Hamilton anxiety test and the Yesagave depression test were applied to a sample of 46 older adults in the care of Cuenca; the analysis of the data was carried out in the computer program SPSS. The results show that the institutionalized and non-institutionalized elderly people have a deterioration in the affective and psychological area, mainly evidencing the feelings of: abandonment, melancholy, sadness, irritability, depression and anxiety; being the non-institutionalized elderly the most affected. In conclusion, to eradicate the abandonment rate and promote mental health in our city's elderly, the family must be prepared from an early age for the phenomenon of aging.Item Análisis de la reproducción de la violencia de género en el sistema familiar: una comparación entre lo urbano y lo rural en el periodo septiembre 2022 – febrero 2023(Universidad de Cuenca, 2023-03-06) Escaribay Ullaguari, Valeria Marisol; Vizhco Castillo, Daysi Alexandra; Blanca Esperanza Gutiérrez MolinaThe objective of this article was to analyze the reproduction of gender violence in the family system by comparing variables between the urban-rural population of the educational institutions "Luis Roberto Bravo ̈(Barrial Blanco-El Vecino) and "Segundo Espinoza Calle” (Minas-Baños Community), in the period September 2022-February 2023. We worked with a non-probabilistic sample of an intentional type, with a population of 141 adolescents and 124 parents and/or legal representatives corresponding to the levels eighth, ninth and tenth year of basic education. For the research, a questionnaire on reproduction patterns of gender violence was prepared and applied to parents/mothers and legal representatives, and the escalation of attitudes towards gender violence for adolescents. It was found that gender violence within the family system is directed at both the male and female gender; Said violence is based on stereotyped practices carried out by authority figures (father, mother) and the couple, regarding attitudes towards gender violence in the adolescent population, an indifferent state was identified. Caso Carmen y Tatiana(Universidad de Cuenca, 2021-01-11) Lema Tenenuela, María Maclovia; Ordóñez Martínez, Lourdes NubeThe present work aims to contribute to the work done by the professionals in “Hagar Miguel León”, a residential care facility for children and adolescents (CA) which relies on protective measures ordered by the judges of the Family, Woman, Child and Adolescent legal departments, thereby demonstrating that institutional care is a legal measure through which the children and adolescents, who for various reasons related to the violation of rights by their parents or caregivers, are removed from their family environment, in order to be placed in an institution approved by the MIES, who provides care services. It is important to mention that this measure is of an exceptional and temporary nature, during which time the institution's technical team initiates a Comprehensive Family Project to make viable a possible reintroduction of the fostered children and adolescents into the family, so that the children and adolescents can return to his/her nuclear family, provided that the causes that led to the institutionalization have been overcome. Unfortunately, it is not always possible to make a reintroduction back into the family, since there are family systems whose functioning is closely tied to preceding generations, repeating negative transgenerational patterns and thus rendering difficult a positive response to generate modifications to the plans, recommended by the multidisciplinary team, to benefit the child, even if this means that the fostered children and adolescents is not returned to the home.Item Análisis de los riesgos psicosociales en las dinámicas de familias inmigrantes en Cuenca, en el marco de la pandemia por Covid 19, desde la perspectiva de género(Universidad de Cuenca, 2022-04-07) Erazo Rodríguez, John Walter; Montalvo Bernal, José HeribertoThis is a qualitative research, it makes a descriptive and exploratory analysis of the psychosocial factors in the dynamics of immigrant families, Cuenca, Ecuador, in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic, from a gender perspective. A semistructured interview was applied, through the instrument the factors were identified from the perspective of migration conditions, then a descriptive characterization was made with the help of a software for qualitative data analysis ATLAS. Ti, highlighting the links and associations between the categories; head of household - risk of women in pandemic - and area of vulnerability as caregivers. This article is the result of a qualitative research with a descriptive scope. Furthermore, the data collection technique which has been used is: focus group, which was applied to a group of 25 mothers. And the results were interpreted with the use of the program Atlas.ti. On the other hand, this article pursues the following objectives: firstly, to analyze the perception of the students’ mothers who attend the initial I and II levels of the School Alfonso María Borrero, regarding the changes in their marital relationship after having children; secondly, to characterize the families of the children in I and II level; thirdly, to explore the changes experienced by the mothers due to the number of children; and fourthly, to systematize the information obtained. Facultad de Jurisprudencia y Ciencias Políticas y Sociales, 2025-10-13) Calle Suin, Kevin Josue; Guzmán Jiménez, Alfonsina del RocíoThe purpose of this study was to examine the correlation between family emigration and the perception of the functionality of the family nucleus, from the perspective of university students between 18 and 25 years of age in Cuenca, Ecuador. The research used a quantitative methodological approach, with a non-experimental and cross-sectional design. The study population consisted of 53 students who have direct migrant family members. For data collection, the Family Functioning Questionnaire (FF-SIL) was used together with a sociodemographic form. The findings indicate that the families present a moderate level of functioning, with relatively high scores in aspects such as affectivity and harmony, while the levels of adaptability and permeability are lower. In conclusion, it can be affirmed that, despite the challenges associated with emigration, many families maintain a balanced functional structure.Item Caracterización de los casos atendidos en el área de Orientación Familiar en el Instituto de Criminología, Criminalística e Intervención Psicosocial Familiar de la Universidad de Cuenca-Ecuador Periodo 2017-2022(Universidad de Cuenca, 2024-02-28) Fajardo Guamán, Fabiola Michelle; Flores Merchán, Belén Cristina; Ordóñez Martínez, Lourdes NubeThis research aimed to describe the cases attended by the Family Counseling area within the Institute of Criminalistic Criminology and Family Psychosocial Intervention of the University of Cuenca, in the years 2017-2022. The methodology used in this research is descriptive in nature, corresponding to a quantitative approach, since it was carried out through the collection of data from existing files, using the IBM SPSS version 20 application. After data collection, states that: in 2019, 114 cases were attended to, symbolizing the highest number of services recorded during the study period; Furthermore, between the years 2017 to 2022, the largest number of interventions are the result of referrals from local judicial institutions. Virtual care was implemented starting in 2020, with the lowest number of process dropouts. The study's main goal was to determine the prevalence of problematic behaviors in the student population through a quantitative approach based on the collection and analysis of numerical and statistical data. The adopted methodology had a descriptive scope, seeking to detail the properties, characteristics, and profiles of the sample composed of 81 eighth and ninth-grade students, encompassing both males and females, from the mentioned educational institution. The application of the Adolescent Self-Descriptive Inventory (IADA) was key to evaluating specific dimensions, highlighting areas affected at both social and personal levels. The results obtained revealed the existence of problematic behaviors in adolescents, establishing a significant connection with parental separation.Item Consecuencias de la pandemia Covid-19, en el funcionamiento familiar de los estudiantes de la básica media y bachillerato de la unidad educativa San Francisco de Sales 2022-2023(Universidad de Cuenca, 2023-03-03) Pérez Vintimilla, Rina Priscila; Sánchez Loja, Wilson FernandoThe world pandemic of Covid-19 has generated serious changes within the different economic, family and social spheres. Therefore, families were one of the areas that mainly presented complications in their family functioning, since assuming new routines and lifestyles different from those they had before, caused imbalances in the process of adaptation and family homeostasis. Therefore, the present research aims to identify the consequences of the Covid-19 pandemic on the family functioning of middle and high school students of the San Francisco de Sales Educational unit. For this purpose, a quantitative methodology was used, which had a descriptive scope, since, in addition to the application of the FF-SIL test, a survey of thirteen closed questions was used, related to areas that could have been affected. Likewise, a non-probabilistic sample by convenience was used, with a universe of 1010 students, of which 100 middle and high school students participated with prior informed consent. On the other hand, as a result, it was obtained that the functionality of the students families during the Covid-19 pandemic was directly affected by the presence of this pandemic, which led to the existence of dysfunctional families. Likewise, it was concluded that communication and loss of employment were also other elements affected, due to the changes caused by it.
