Item Prevalencia de la violencia laboral en el personal administrativo del Distrito de Salud 03D01 Azogues-Biblián-Déleg, 2023(Universidad de Cuenca, 2024-05-21) Sevilla Campoverde, Karla Estefanía; Sevilla Campoverde, Giomara YadiraBackground: Workplace violence entails psychological harassment within the work environment, compromising individual dignity and giving rise to stress, anxiety, depression, diminished self-esteem, the latter culminating in job dissatisfaction, the need for prior approval, setbacks, and academic regression coupled with frequent interpersonal conflicts. Objective: To determine the prevalence of workplace violence among administrative personnel in Health District 03D01 Azogues-Biblián-Déleg. Methods: This is an observational, descriptive, cross-sectional, and prospective study involving a sample size of 55 individuals, encompassing all staff members. The study employs a sociodemographic questionnaire, the Cisneros scale for identifying psychological harassment behaviors, and the Rosenberg scale for assessing self-esteem levels. Data were analyzed using the statistical software SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences) version 12 and Microsoft Excel 2019. Descriptive statistics such as mean, median, mode, and interquartile range were used. Results: By collecting data, the study anticipates the identification of instances of workplace violence and the assessment of self-esteem levels among administrative personnel in Health District 03D01 Azogues-Biblián-Déleg. Conclusions: 8 out of 10 workers surveyed are satisfied with the work environment and do not identify risk factors.
