Item Efectos del padre ausente en los adolescentes de la unidad educativa Carlos Rigoberto Vintimilla en el periodo 2022 – 2023(Universidad de Cuenca, 2023-03-06) Gordillo Guiracocha, Erika Maribel; Sánchez Loja, Wilson FernandoThe paternal absence is considered a current problem as a result of studies that have discovered various negative effects resulting from not having a father figure present. Which are evidenced in emotional problems, difficulties in social interaction, substance use, conflicts in the academic field, decision-making among others that limit optimal development of adolescents. In order to expand research on this topic at present, the present investigation arises with the objective of analyzing the effects produced by the physical and / or affective absence of the father figure in adolescents of the Carlos Rigoberto Vintimilla educational unit. In this sense, the research was framed in a mixed approach, which combines the quantitative to assess the existence of effects on adolescents with the qualitative in order to collect perceptions based on specific issues such as academic desertion, low performance, adolescent pregnancy and feelings. Produced by the absence of the father. Using instruments of their own authorship, where for the quantitative part a sweep survey applied to 162 adolescents and a named survey (CEPPA) applied to a sample of 78 adolescents were developed, the data obtained with said instruments were tabulated using the SPSS AND ATLASTI. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to identify the influence of Family Functioning on the Emotional Well-being of adolescents. For this, a quantitative study with a cross-descriptive scope was carried out. To achieve the objective, 213 students were sampled, including 100 women, 106 men and 7 students with different self-identification. The instruments used were, a sociodemographic file they were used to investigate: gender, age, level, area of residence and type of family, the FF SIL test and the Emotional Psychological Well-being scale.
