Item Alteraciones cognitivas en las áreas de memoria y atención en hombres y mujeres internos por consumo de sustancias psicoactivas en los Centros de Rehabilitación 12 Pasos, Exitus, Proyecto Esperanza Sayausi y Punto de Decisión. Cuenca, 2022(Universidad de Cuenca, 2023-04-21) Solano Toledo, Erika Thalía; Tene Brito, Katherine Cristina; Piedra Carrión, María JoséDrugs are psychoactive substances that alter at a cognitive level the areas of attention, memory, language, executive functions, etc., affecting at the same time adaptation in the following spheres: school, work, family, personal and social. The aim of this study was to compare the cognitive alterations in the areas of attention and memory of male and female patients who are consumers of CETAD 12 Pasos, Exitus, Proyecto Esperanza Sayausi and Punto de Decisión. The study was developed through a quantitative approach, with a nonexperimental design, cross-sectional and comparative scope, through the participation of 74 users, 37 women and 37 men, who were selected from a non-probabilistic sampling by convenience in the case of men and the entire population of women. As a result of the main objective, the presence of normal functioning in the areas of attention and memory in both sexes was obtained. However, there were moderate scores in two attention tests and in three memory tests, however, these were not statistically significant, so it is considered that substance use may or may not affect cognitive functioning in a similar way at different levels (normal, moderate and severe) in both men and women.Item Factores asociados a recaídas de alcohólicos rehabilitados que concurren a grupos de apoyo(2015) Cuji Cordova, Wilmer Dionicio; Tixi Sotamba, Javier Patricio; González Maldonado, Rosana de LourdesThe present investigation was conducted with the participation of individuals of 18-65 years alcohol dependent recovery that have previously fallen but are now turning to groups of Alcoholics Anonymous in the city of Cuenca. The purpose of the study was an analysis of the factors affecting relapse rehabilitated persons making these vulnerable to a new stage of consumption. The research undertaken is within the qualitative paradigm, the same that ran in different self-help groups of the city of Cuenca. It was used as a research tool a structured interview, which was previously validated by the authors, their application aimed to collect information necessary to meet the objectives, the information obtained was transcribed and analyzed using Atlas ti program, version 7.0 The most relevant results indicate that a childhood troubled, dysfunctional environments, marital problems, poor communication, return to denial, self-reliance at the individual and expose people to be capable of returning to old groups of friends and drinking places for shelter with misconceptions which they are the only places where they are understood. Besides the presence of alcohol in most places where people attend, and the fact that society does not see consumption as a problem, it creates favorable for stronger relapses take place.Item Insatisfacción de la imagen corporal y adicción a redes sociales en adolescentes femeninas de la Unidad Educativa Sígsig-Ecuador, período 2022(Universidad de Cuenca, 2023-03-06) Pulla Astudillo, Karen Beatriz; Cabrera Vélez, María MarcelaAlthough social networks have become a useful resource for some human aspects, these have promoted some problems for adolescents such as excessive use and a virtual reality which allow to obtain an assessment of body image in a non-adaptive sense. Therefore, the aim of this study was to determine the relationship between levels of body image dissatisfaction with respect to addiction to social networks of female adolescents. The research was managed by a quantitative approach and a descriptive-correlational scope. The participants were 71 adolescents who had 13 to 15 years of age, and who belonged to Sígsig media school during the academic period of 2022. The information was collected through some instruments such as a sociodemographic survey, the Social Network Addiction Questionnaire (ARS), and the Body Satisfaction Questionnaire (SBQ). The results obtained detail there was not a significant relation between addiction to social networks and satisfaction with body image; the predominant level of body image was without concern; and the addiction to social networks presented an orientation towards low scores. In conclusion, adolescents participating in the study appreciate their body image positively and use social networks appropriately.Item Inteligencia emocional intrapersonal y uso problemático de videojuegos en adolescentes de 14 a 16 años de la Unidad Educativa 26 de febrero del cantón Paute durante el período 2022(Universidad de Cuenca, 2023-03-01) Cuesta Pérez, Katherine Gabriela; Vanegas Jara, Adriana Renata; Duque Espinoza, Paola VanessaThe bibliographic exploration allowed to identify the absence of investigations in the Ecuadorian territory, particularly in Azuay, that address the relationship between emotional intelligence (EI) and the problematic use of video games in adolescents; situation that constitutes a research gap that needs to be solved, since it opens the possibility that solutions are not proposed to possible disorders or addictions among young people. Faced with this reality, the present study proposed as a general objective: to correlate the problematic use of video games with the scores of the perceived intrapersonal EI dimensions, in adolescents from 14 to 16 years old, in the Educational Unit 26 de Febrero of the Paute canton, period 2022. For this, a quantitative approach methodology, correlational scope, non-experimental design and cross-sectional design was designed. The CERV and TMMS 24 instruments were appliedto a non-probabilistic sample, where 150 students who were in the 10th grade of Superior Basic General Education and the first and second years of high school participated, in the Educational Unit February 26 of the Paute canton. . The results processed in SPSS version 26, reflected a level of problematic use of 4.7% of the total participation. Regarding the EI dimensions, it was found that, in emotional attention, 50% have adequate attention; in emotional clarity, 62% should improve; while in emotional repair only 44% present an adequate level of emotional repair. Regarding the correlation of the variables studied, no significant correlation was found.Item Percepción de los adolescentes de un centro de adicciones sobre los estilos de socialización de sus padres/madres(2017) Orellana Macas, Freddy Mauricio; León Machuca, Walter FabiánThis research aims identify the parental socialization styles that adolescents placed in a addictions treatment center perceive from their mothers/fathers. This investigation was conducted with a quantitative approach at an exploratory-descriptive level. The process to collect information took place through the Parental Socialization Styles Scale ESPA29 and sociodemographic questionnaire. The sample taken was constituted of 40 adolescent placed in a addictions treatment center Hogar Crecer within the range between 13 and 18 years. After data analysis using the statistical program SPSS Statistics 23, the results showed that the predominant maternal socialization style is the democratic style. With respect to the predominant paternal socialization style is the authoritarian style; finally there are no results that show a direct relationship between the socialization parental style and drug useItem Situaciones psicosociales que aumentan el riesgo de recaída en el consumo de drogas en los usuarios del CETAD Hogares KAIROS de las ciudades de Azogues y Paute, año 2024(Universidad de Cuenca, 2024-09-03) Ortiz Flores, John Fabian; Flores Jaramillo, David Fernando; Samaniego Chalco, María JoséRelapse in drug use is a persistent problem among users of Specialized Treatment Centers (CETAD), despite existing prevention and rehabilitation programs. This study aimed to describe the psychosocial situations that increase the risk of drug use relapse in users of the Specialized Addiction Treatment Center (CETAD) Hogares KAIROS in Azogues and Paute. A quantitative, non-experimental, cross-sectional, and descriptive design was used, with a sample of 63 adult male users. The Drug Use Situations Inventory and a sociodemographic form were used to collect data on psychosocial situations that increase the risk of relapse. The results indicate that risk situations at the personal and interpersonal level have a moderate incidence on relapses. In addition, it was found that the most predominant psychosocial factor at the personal level is pleasant emotions since it showed the highest score and the most predominant psychosocial factor at the interpersonal level is pleasant moments with others since it showed the highest score. It is expected that these findings will contribute to the development of more effective prevention and rehabilitation treatment programs, taking into account the psychosocial situations that increase the risk of relapse.
