Item El sustento relacional de amigos y familiares en el proceso de rehabilitación de los usuarios del Centro Especializado en el tratamiento a personas con consumo problemático del alcohol y otras drogas "Voluntad y Fortaleza"(Universidad de Cuenca, 2024-03-04) Jara Fajardo, Sandra Elizabeth; Pulla Pulla, Wilson Rodrigo; Álava Atiencie, Nubia GabrielaTo analyze the importance of family and friendly relationships of individuals facing alcohol and drug consumption issues, this study examined the situation of 32 users at the specialized center CETAD "Voluntad y Fortaleza" in the year 2022. The methodology employed was of a mixed nature, combining quantitative through surveys and change evaluation scale and qualitative approaches through the use of semi-structured interviews, it was found that the majority of users, in their current situation, considered themselves to be good individuals and had either good or regular relationships with friends and family. Understanding the problem and taking on specific responsibilities within the family sphere are crucial for the rehabilitation process, which is why users believed it to be a motivating factor for their recovery. Additionally, it was observed that each user is actively committed to taking steps to address and overcome their issues, seeking to improve their quality of life. Finally, socio-affective patterns in relationships with friends and family, in which active participation during and after leaving the rehabilitation center should be prioritized and worked on, were identified. The quality of the social circle is also vital, as being rehabilitated but remaining in the same addictive environment could lead to future relapses or ambivalence in the individual between the need for change and reverting to their previous status quo.
