    After gathering concepts, this document presents the design of a building, complemented by its blue prints, a structural pre dimensioning, and its budget, in order to carry out a comparative economic analysis of construction systems: reinforced concrete and structural steel, with criteria established after analyzing these two building systems for the structure of a specific building in the city of Cuenca, determining its advantages and disadvantages in order to find the most convenient.
