Item Determinación de los niveles de ácido láctico sanguíneo en deportistas varones del gimnasio de Crossfit The Zone(2015) Granizo Riquetti, Hernán Alberto; Brito Vásquez, Vicente EnriqueThe present study had the purpose to research about the levels of lactate in the blood of ten sportsmen who practice the Crossfit as a regular routine of training. In order to obtain the data, three samples of blood were taken to the best ten sportmen of a local gymnasium: during the rest phase, after the practice of the exercise and ten minutes after the passive recovery phase. The average of lactate during the rest phase was 2,6m.mol; while the average after the practice phase had increased to an average of 16,4 m.mol; finally, the average of the passive recovery phase was 11,3 m.mol. The results point out that the Crossfit discipline stimulates the production of lactate intensely after the training sessions. Notwithstanding, there is neither a correct active recovery post-trainning, nor a correct recovery among the stimulus, which could be cause of multiple injuries and even illness. Since the Crossfit routine is getting more popular all over Ecuador, this study could contribute to a scientific planning in order to improve the public health.
