Item Clima social escolar: el caso de cuatro unidades educativas fiscales de la ciudad de Cuenca, período 2018 – 2019(Universidad de Cuenca, 2020-08-06) Ortega Pañora, Carmen Isabel; Sarmiento Ávila, Yoska Anabel; Quito Calle, Jessica VanessaThe analysis of the school social climate from Social Work guarantees a general view, considering that the social climate are the environmental conditions in which adolescents operate within the educational units, which must be studied and diagnosed from a profession that ensures the integrality in their intervention by working with all the actors of the educational system in the resolution of conflicts as in the prevention of them. This study analyses the perception of students on the school social climate through a quantitative approach with a descriptive study, for which the R. H. Moos and E. J. Trickett test was applied, Ecuadorian adaptation (2011), considering adolescents of the Unified General Baccalaureate of four educational units of the city of Cuenca, these institutions are: "3 November", "Octavio Cordero Palacios", "San Francisco", and "Alberto Andrade ArizagaBrumel", which resulted in a total of 500 students in a range of 15 to 20 years. The results obtained in this research indicate that the student perceives the school social climate that surrounds them as nutritious, considering the relationships between partners and their teachers as relevant factors, however, innovation in teaching methodologies remains fragile, the impact of Social Work and the school social climate are closely linked, however, within the education system there is a devaluation by the profession, just as it can be shown that the education system lacks institutional policies that promote a nutritious school social climate.Item Efectos de la intervención social en la violencia contra los niños, niñas y adolescentes: comunidades Cochapamba, Rio Blanco y San Pedro de Yumate, de la parroquia de Molleturo, 2019- 2020(Universidad de Cuenca, 2021-09-27) Loja Guzman, Joseline Micaela; Nieto Cali, Karla Belén; Bueno Loja, Blanca YolandaViolence against children and adolescents is culturally naturalized through intergenerational transmission, which increases in areas of mining influence, with conflicts between the community and the family environment, affecting the comprehensive development of children and adolescents. This research aims to analyze the effects of the social intervention developed by the Cantonal Council for the Protection of Rights - Cuenca together with the University of Cuenca, concerning violence against children and adolescents, in the communities of Cochapamba, Río Blanco and San Pedro de Yumate, Parroquia Molleturo, canton Cuenca, period 2019-2020. From the study, the results identified the socioeconomic level as the main social factor that generates violence towards children and adolescents, followed by customs and beliefs as the most recurrent cultural factor that evidences the naturalization of violence. On the other hand, the most prevalent change from psychosocial intervention to prevent violence has manifested itself within families where there is better coexistence between members, dialogue between the family group as a way of resolving conflicts. In order to deal with cases of violation of the rights of this priority group, the research has considered the participatory construction of community routes in accordance with the dynamics of each community.Item Estrategias de intervención desde el trabajo social frente al suicidio en la adolescencia(2016) Cordova Carvajal, Marcela Analí; Astudillo Lucero, Francisco RenéThis monographic work titled “Intervention Strategies from the Perspective of Social Work against Suicide in Adolescence” deals with, among others, the following topics: definitions and types of suicide, factors influencing on suicide in adolescence, and the causes which generate this public health problem. The central “subject” of this research is adolescence, an age group where suicide has become the third cause of death. A suicidal behavior is also dealt with in this work, by considering the changes and psychological characteristics which are decisive for detecting these kinds of behavior so as to prevent them and intervene from different professional perspectives, where multidisciplinary work is the basis for specialized intervention. In this scenario of multidisciplinarity, the job of a Social Worker is characterized, in this monography, as a task carried out by a professional who harmonically invigorate the action of other professionals involved in it by relying on the psycho-educational area and on the definition of the social scenario. Finally, certain strategies and conceptual and methodological alternatives are proposed in order to prevent suicide in adolescence, as well as to teach their families and close friends how to deal with this problem. This is then a methodological proposal which defines itself as a strategy to prevent suicide and it is the job of a multidisciplinary team where psychologists, medical doctors, psychiatrists, nurses, educators, family counselors, and social workers participate, with the purpose of helping to prevent this calamity and relate both concepts and methodologiesin professional practice.
