For this reason, the present investigation has had the objective of analyzing the socioeconomic profile and the prevailing consumption patterns of internal adolescents in the CETAD "Hogar Victoria", during the period May-November, 2022. The investigation was of an applied theoretical type, level and a descriptive-cross-sectional, non-experimental design. The participating population consisted of 19 female adolescents admitted to the CETAD "Hogar Victoria", during the period May-November of the year 2022. The mixed technique was applied, using for the quantitative part the CETAD sociodemographic survey and the ASSIST questionnaire, in both for the qualitative part the interview, through a questionnaire of open questions. The analysis was carried out using the statistical program SPSS, with the Pearson correlation test and the qualitative analysis program Atlas.ti. The research question made it possible to determine that there is no significant relationship between the socioeconomic profile and consumption pattern in the young women in the institution, while the interviews provided guidelines to recommend the work and planning approach for Social Workers who work with people with substance addiction problems.Item Una visión desde el trabajo social a las adicciones(2017) Argudo Albarracín, Elizabeth Karina; Quesada Orellana, Víctor ManuelThe following investigation titled “A vision of addictions from Social Work”, presents a theoretical approach of this social problem that affects young people and adults alike in our society, based on an analytic/descriptive investigation method. This investigation has three big themes: Addictions, Alcohol and Drug Addictions, and the Social Work intervention in the mental health field. The Chapter: Addictions, presents a short hystorical review and conceptualization and characteristics of the more common types of addictions, and the prevalences of usage on people that are part of a residential treatment center for people with drug and alcohol problems. The Chapter: Alcohol an Drug Addictions, reviews different alcoholism, and drug addiction definitions, and also the causes and consequences that affect the persons’s mental health and their family’s. The Chapter: Social Work intervention in the mental health field, shows a broad perspective mainly about the roles and functions that the Social Worker fulfills on the mental health field, and also de instruments and techniques used for familiar diagnosis, base don the application of diverse intervention models of Social Work.
