Item Características de la violencia intrafamiliar en niños de la Unidad Educativa Intercultural Bilingüe Sisid. 2016(2016) Saeteros Saeteros, Narcisa de Jesús; Ulloa Gómez, Jhoanna Priscila; Merchán, María GerardinaThe Pan American Health Organization has defined domestic violence as any act or omission committed by any member of the family relationship of power, regardless of the physical space where it occurs that harms the well-being, physical, psychological or integrity freedom and the right to full development of the other / a family member. Therefore, risk groups for violence in private contexts are women and children, culturally defined as less powerful sectors (1). In 2010, as reported by the Social Observatory of Ecuador, 44% of children between 5 and 17 years had been subject to violent responses by their parents at home before the commission of an offense or not obedience (2). OBJECTIVE: To determine the characteristics of domestic violence on children of Intercultural Bilingual Education Unit Sisid 2016 METHODOLOGY: research was descriptive - Quantitative. Being the finite universe of 95 students of whom worked with 91 because the four children did not attend the day of the find. To collect the information were used 2 Test: for psychological assessment test Louis Corman (psychologist) was used (1961) and to determine the characteristics of domestic violence in the form validated by Villatoro. J; Quiroz. N; Gutiérrez. ML; Diaz Amador M. and N. (2006) (Survey of Child Maltreatment and Associated Factors 2006). The tabulation of data was performed in Excel programs SPSS and the results are shown in table frequencies and percentages. RESULTS: the results indicate that most of the study population suffer some kind of abuse; the most common forms are: strong pulled hair or ears with 11% often yell with 13.2%, you were groped, touched or stroked some part of your body with 1.1%. Abuse is directly linked to the family
