Item Abuso sexual en la escuela y vulneración de los derechos de niños y niñas(Universidad de Cuenca, 2020-02-14) Castillo Delgado, Marcela Elizabeth; Serrano Loja, Paola Gabriela; Jerves Hermida, Elena MonserrathThis research work is based on the alarming visibility of sexual abuse in school contexts against children and adolescents in Ecuador. The objective of this work was to sustain, theoretically, how sexual abuse in the school context violates the rights of children. For this purpose, a review of the literature and the current legal framework was carried out. The work is structured by three chapters. In the First Chapter, sexual abuse is defined as a form of violence that triggers negative consequences that put children or adolescents at risk and vulnerability. In the Second Chapter, the issue of the Rights of children and adolescents is addressed, explaining the importance of ensuring compliance with them. Finally, in the Third Chapter the two categories described above are related, such as child sexual abuse and the rights of children and adolescents, analyzing the way in which the rights of children are violated and put at risk when there are situations of child sexual abuse, either inside or outside educational institutions.Item Abuso sexual y poder. Research shows that the problem of sexual abuse has been derived from the relations of power that Foucault proposes. It will always exist the one who exercises power and domination over other subjects that are in some inferior positions. Whether it is through power, domination, superiority or authority on any aspect of life, but these interpersonal relations are micro-social in manner. It is found in any daily instance where there is a relationship with another person. Here, it can be said that it exists a unidirectional relationship of power. Whether it is family links, academic or diverse social groups. On the other hand, the pleasure that produces to exercise an abuse of power on the body of a person is what makes a person to commit sexual abuse. In chapter one, the sub-branches of Bioethics were examining these are Religious, Utilitarian, Principialist, Personalist, and Gradualist; Of these, the Gradualist is choosing because it is the one with the fewest moral dilemmas and with the significant scientific support. Un documental del caso nos faltan 3(Universidad de Cuenca, 2020-07-27) Loja Duchi, Gabriela Estefanía; Pesantez Morales, Marisol Estefanía; Zumba Campos, Aníbal AlfredoJournalism was born as the need to inform society about various events that occur around the world. During journalistic coverage, communication workers face certain situations which involve risk and that may attempt their integrity. On March 26, 2018, a newspaper team of Diario El Comercio, consisting of Javier Ortega, Paúl Rivas, and Efraín Segarra, was kidnapped by a group of dissidents called Frente Oliver Sinisterra in the village of Mataje located in San Lorenzo-Esmeraldas canton. The incident occurred when the three members of El Comercio were making a new journalistic coverage about the security of the frontier after the attacks against the Ecuadorian police and military. Three weeks later, the National Government of Ecuador confirmed the murder of the newspaper team. This case is known as 'Nos Faltan 3'. This work presents the result of an in-depth investigation into the role of the journalist in the coverage of risky situations as well as the events about the kidnapping and murder of Javier, Paul, and Efrain exposed in the audiovisual documentary 'Nos Faltan 3' with the intention of generating a reflection on the journalistic work.
