For this reason, this intervention project focused on developing a management improvement plan for the subjects Work Practice 2 and 3, for students of the Hospitality and Hotel Business career belonging to the University of Cuenca. To carry out this process, an exhaustive diagnosis of the current situation of these subjects was carried out. This analysis revealed a central problem: the inefficient management of internship processes and procedures, mainly caused by the lack of communication between the university and the hotels, insufficient supervision of the students, and the lack of motivation and interest of the students themselves. Based on these findings, an improvement plan was designed that addressed the processes and procedures within the work internship subjects. In addition, the socialization and validation of the proposal, through participatory meetings with teachers, students and representatives of the establishments, made it possible to correct the plan and ensure its alignment with the needs and expectations of the different actors. This improvement plan, once implemented by the university, has the potential to generate positive results in student satisfaction. This would contribute to the improvement in the management of work practices in the Hospitality and Hotel Business career and could serve as a model for other careers and universities that seek to strengthen this essential component of professional training.
