Item Análisis de factores de riesgo que inciden en la deserción de nadadores élite pertenecientes a la academia Hermanos Enderica en tiempos de pandemia(Universidad de Cuenca, 2022-03-30) Bautista Barros, Juan Diego; Castro Idrovo, Nicolás Mateo; Vidal Valencia, Tonny EfrénThis research project aims to determine the most significant factors that affect the sports abandonment of elite swimmers belonging to the academy "Hermanos Enderica", through the application of a questionnaire with questions focused on various factors including low performance, lack of fun, poor ability, influence of others, low form/interest, and factors associated with the pandemic (Covid-19). The questionnaire took place in person at the facilities of the Azuay Sports Federation in the city of Cuenca, with an established study group of 10 male and female swimmers of elite category between 15 and 30 years belonging to the institution "Hermanos Enderica". In this way, it was possible to determine the specific factors that put at risk the continuity of the elite swimmers who represent the Azuay; in addition to defining the risk rate of sports dropout in athletes. The results showed that there is the presence of some factors mentioned above, however, their influence does not turn out to be significant when presenting values that are located in the percentile of low risk of sports abandonment established in the assessment table. Finally, it was possible to conclude that there is a low general risk in the factors that cause sports desertion in the aforementioned institution, and in this way the future outlook is favorable for the continuity of elite athletes; However, the presence of these factors, despite being minimal, indicates that they should be reinforced in different areas both of the athlete and their environment in order to reduce their impact.Item Análisis de la activación muscular por medio de electromiografía en función del agarre en las dominadas(Universidad de Cuenca, 2023-11-23) Camacho Cajamarca, Juan Leonel; Vidal Valencia, Tonny EfrénThis research work is a literature review with the objective of analyzing the electromyography activation of the main muscles involved in the exercise in pull ups, for which an exhaustive search was carried out and the compilation of bibliographic documents related to the subject. For the selection of articles, four digital bases were used, studies in Spanish and English. Applying the established selection criteria, a total of 6 scientific documents were selected. Through the electromyographic analysis of muscle activation, it is possible to see and make a comparison of the different types of grip analyzed in each of the documents, thus having a better understanding and knowledge of what would be the best grip to perform the exercise. In conclusion, different electromyographic analyzes of all types of grips during the pull-up exercise did not demonstrate significant differences, resulting in the only difference between prone and supine grips, which is why it is concluded that the orientation of the hand at the moment of the grip is what creates different degrees of activation in the same muscle groups.Item Desarrollo de la coordinación óculo-manual a través de actividades lúdicas en niños de 4 a 5 años de la unidad Educativa San Joaquín del cantón Cuenca(Universidad de Cuenca, 2024-10-24) Chimborazo Buestan, Walter Daniel; Parapi Bacuilima, Walter Geovanny; Vidal Valencia, Tonny EfrénHand-eye coordination is the human ability to synchronize the eyes and hands to perform precise movements. The sample consisted of a total of 65 students (28 females and 37 males), ME = 16 years of age belonging to 1st, 2nd and 3rd year of BGU. The research is non-experimental with a descriptive cross-sectional design with a quantitative approach. The SPSS v25 statistical program was used for data analysis; with the parametric statistical T-test for paired data. To calculate the descriptive statistics, the perception of the PE classes was measured using the Instrument for Measuring Satisfaction with PE classes (I.M.S.E.F). To measure the level of motivation, the Basic Psychological Needs Scale (BPN) adapted to PE was used, taking into account that the selfdetermination theory considers that the three basic and universal psychological needs of autonomy, competence and relationship with others directly influence student motivation. Deci and Ryan (2000). In addition, the International PA Questionnaire (IPAQ) was used to measure levels of PA. The results regarding the NPB satisfaction level and the relationship with PA level showed that students of the two genders with higher NPB satisfaction levels are those who have a level considered high in PA. On the other hand, with respect to the relationship between the perception of the PE classes and the level of PA, it was evidenced that the satisfaction with the sports activities and with the teacher, the women with a low level of PA are more satisfied, while the women with a moderate level of PA have the lowest degree of satisfaction with the sports activities and with the teacher. In the case of men, they are the most satisfied with the sports activities, the content and the teacher, having a high level of PA. In conclusion, students who had a higher level of PA had higher levels of motivation and satisfaction with the classes.Item Programa de intervención para mejorar los fundamentos técnicos en niños futbolistas de 10 a 12 años de la academia de fútbol Tigres de la ciudad de Cuenca(Universidad de Cuenca, 2024-02-28) Espejo Aucancela, José Andrés; Guncay Llivicura, Germán Patricio; Vidal Valencia, Tonny EfrénThe objective of this research was to implement an intervention program with a ludic methodology to improve the technical fundamentals of soccer players between 10 and 12 years old from the Tigres Soccer Academy in the city of Cuenca.
