The different families of musical instruments have several characteristics in sound timbre , color, dynamic, musical performance among others. On this occasion it has been necessary to use various percussion instruments idiófonos as membranophones in forming an assembly with a view to the interpretation of a concert. When working on the adaptation of mainstream symphonic percussion instruments in interpreting rock, new sounds and orchestral resources in these instruments is sought . Here , we demonstrate the similarity in the work of both the concert timpani as in the works of rock, since in both cases it seeks to use new sounds in the percussion expanding the music it performs in symphonic percussion, as well as the opportunity to show that genres are variable and malleable in their music in general parameters. The research sought to investigate priority basis the most important aspects of each of the works selected for this descriptive analysis techniques gave a profitable way that allowed to build the theme in the search for the definition of basic elements, general superfluous, malleable and forced. It is necessary to indicate that the work of the composer Ney Rosauro, Concerto for Timpani and Wind Orchestra, is one of the operational and teaching for the realization of this work matrices therefore Rosauro successfully manufactured a musical hybrid where the versatility of the timbales symphonic were shown on participation as an instrument melodic, rhythmic soloist in a concert with orchestra. The second stage was to make arrangements selected topics for percussion ensemble, the same that were displayed for a concert performance. At this stage it was broken in a timely manner the multiple compositional, technical and artistic aspects considered to mold making has to be changed to enrich the new sound proposals on the following topics: You Shook Me All Night Long 1980, ACDC; Livin’ on a Prayer 1986, Bon Jovi; Tom Sawyer 1981, Rush; Eye Of The Tiger 1982, Survivor; The Final Countdown 1986, Europe; Master of Puppets 1986, Metallica.
