Item Análisis del proceso de creación de una partitura corporal desarrollada desde la autoetnografía para la escena del desnudo del performance “Nø opines”(Universidad de Cuenca, 2024-03-19) Velesaca Vega, Samantha Noemi; Luje Morales, Edwin MarceloThe present degree project addresses the process of creating a body score developed from autoethnography for the nude scene of the performance "No Opines"; to do so in a comprehensible and well-founded manner, concepts such as autoethnography from the perspective of Sam Fernandez and Elisa Alegre, body perception and body archive from the thinking of philosopher Merleau Ponty have been investigated. On the other hand, to address the concept of vulnerability of the body, we speak from the representation of a canonical body in the perception of author Maria Jesus Abad, body memory in the text "The Wounded Body" from the perception of David Le Breton, "Emotional Memory" from the perspective of author Konstantin Stanislavski, fragility of the body from the creation processes of Frida Kahlo, the concept of "Performance" from authors Luis Cortés, María Victoria Polanco, María Elena Retamal, Karina Guerra and Sebastián Farfán, as well as the concept of body score proposed by Diego Fernando Murillo. Starting from autoethnography where the conflict and confrontation of the author with nudity were extracted from milestones of my journal where exercises were carried out as work in front of the mirror, with objects and materials as well as writing. It also explores the use of emotional memory proposed by Stanislavski for the construction of body scores that culminated in the staging of the work.Item Aplicación de la herramienta de las acciones físicas de Stanislavski en la creación del personaje “Eva”, en la Obra “Almas allá”(Universidad de Cuenca, 2025-03-11) Vásquez Solano, Karla Nathaly; Luje Morales, Edwin MarceloThis research work on the creation of the play “Almas Allá” specifically addresses the process of character development by an actress who deeply connects with her role through the implementation of physical theater techniques and tools learned within the Performing Arts program at the University of Cuenca. In particular, it highlights the significant contribution of Stanislavsky’s Method of Physical Actions, which serves as a solid foundation for character creation and interpretation. This foundation is further deepened, refined, and enriched through the incorporation of additional techniques such as improvisation, communication, movement, and stage awareness, as proposed by Rudolf Von Laban and Jerzy Grotowski. This integrated and well-structured combination of techniques allows for an organic development of the character, where emotions, actions on stage, gestures, movements, and facial expressions are carefully arranged into a specific score. This approach enables a clear identification of the character’s psychology through their actions on stage. The result is a theoretical-practical research-creation process that, collectively, presents a play addressing humanity’s obsession with representation and perfection. From certain perspectives, this pursuit can lead to ridicule and absurdity in our daily lives. It remains a pressing issue for individuals immersed in a system and digital social networks that distort reality, making us believe we are something different while simultaneously pressuring us to fit into a predefined mold. This exploration, framed within an absurdist perspective, invites us to reconsider our perception of belonging in a world where we are just another soul.Item Construcción del personaje Ana en la obra Grito Colectivo a partir de la herramienta de Equilibrio Precario(Universidad de Cuenca, 2025-03-18) Vásconez Neira, Ana Gabriela; Luje Morales, Edwin MarceloThis thesis aims to address the context in which the Precarious Equilibrium tool is developed. Therefore, Theatrical Anthropology is an essential element to better understand the concept of Precarious Equilibrium and in turn compare this new approach in creation, in comparison with the old ways of theater creation that have been developed through time. However, the main topic is how this tool called Precarious Equilibrium has influenced the construction of the main physical and emotional characteristics and the composition of the character “Ana” in the play “Grito Colectivo”. This work combines various concepts from the technical, sensitive and theoretical part, which are linked to form a fabric and thus show a process of creation through specific methodologies.Item Creación de un personaje a través de recursos lumínicos en la obra El Pan de las Diez(Universidad de Cuenca, 2023-03-06) Muñoz Paltín, Tatiana Anahí; Luje Morales, Edwin MarceloThe purpose of this research is the creation of a character through light resources in the play "El Pan de las diez". The creation process was structured around three fundamental axes: experimentation regarding the technical and aesthetic possibilities of light in the scene, the relationship between the actors and the lighting element, and finally, the creative exploration, also compositional, carried out for the construction of the character. The result is the creation of the character Chief within the scenic work called "The ten o'clock bread" which is a representation of violent authority, a critique of abuse, exploitation and social structure.Item Desarrollo de una estrategia didáctica partiendo de técnicas teatrales para la inclusión educativa de un adolescente con TDAH en la U.E.F. Calasanz(Universidad de Cuenca, 2024-09-05) Cabrera Cabrera, Lucio Fabián; Luje Morales, Edwin MarceloThis work aims to develop a teaching strategy for the inclusion of boys, girls and teens with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), focused on providing innovative teaching tools to teachers to promote educational inclusion through theatrical techniques. These new proposed and developed techniques reevaluate art as an instrument to strengthen educational inclusion in the classroom. Since 2016, the performing arts has been established in the Education curriculum Cultural and Artistic of the Ministry of Education as one of the learning objectives. Within the creative theatrical exploration, the student experiences key elements for their comprehensive and meaningful learning, such as: collaboration, empathy, camaraderie, thus creating a sense of acceptance and inclusion among each of their colleagues. This work reflects these resultsItem Escenificación dancística para el aprendizaje de la cosmovisión andina del Ecuador(Universidad de Cuenca, 2023-11-09) Gavela Salazar, Shirley Ivonne; Luje Morales, Edwin MarceloThe following arts-based research focuses on learning the Andean Cosmovision of Ecuador from dance, to offer future teachers didactic tools that address important themes of Andean philosophy, specifically from the northern region of Ecuador. Based on the pedagogical methodologies and didactics used in this proposal, it is intended to rescue and revalue the art, culture and tradition of the Abya Ayala peoples and specifically the Kichwa Otavalo people. Within the Curricular Mesh of Cultural and Artistic Education in force since 2016 in Ecuador, it puts into study, at all levels of learning, the ancestral, traditional and popular knowledge of our country. Within the creative process for the dance staging for learning the Andean worldview, the student is the protagonist of a series of significant experiences that contribute positively to the body, mind and spirit, allowing the viewer to feel the ancestral connection that aims to reflect the staging.Item Investigación creación auto etnográfica para la creación de una secuencia de movimientos en la obra escénica Retazos Cosidos(Universidad de Cuenca, 2024-03-04) Lituma Peralta, Josselin Dayan; Luje Morales, Edwin MarceloThe present work is the result of the approach of a research process autoethnographic creation for the creation of a sequence of movements in the stage work Retazos Cosidos, which arose around the theme of mourning, which in the subject "Research of the Creative Process focused on Execution I and II" was the creative trigger and that little by little was developed in an increasingly complex way. During the process, this method of work was used, because it would allow me to collect sensitive information and generate multiple materiality’s from my own life experience, relate them to the cultural context in which I develop, process them through other tools and scenic techniques such as emotional memory, to finally narrate fragments of my own life before the spectators. Emotive memory, a concept proposed by Stanislavsky for the creation of characters, was one of the essential tools that were reconfigured, within the framework of the autoethnographic process, for the creation of sequences of movements, which is why it is developed as one of the relevant subthemes within this work. In the first part of this document, some theoretical references that I consider valuable for the development of this work will be presented; Next, the exercise of systematization of the creative process will be developed, which is based on the logbook, from which exercises, procedures and other materials that contributed to the achievement of this work have been extracted.Item La gestualidad como recurso para el acercamiento a las artes escénicas en estudiantes de segundo de Bachillerato General Unificado(Universidad de Cuenca, 2024-08-26) Pesántez Guaraca, Emilia Rafaela; Luje Morales, Edwin MarceloThe present work is based on the planning of an instructional methodological class using theatrical games and gestural exercises within the theater, directed to students of second year of general unified high school, BGU, which was implemented in the city of Gualaceo, Azuay, after an exhaustive research and survey conducted to teachers of the Cultural and Artistic Education area, ECA, of all educational institutions in said city about their knowledge, experiences, studies and interests regarding performing arts.
