    Modelado 3D y aplicación en realidad aumentada de la Catedral de la Inmaculada Concepción para turistas de Cuenca

    This project focuses on generating a 3D prototype of the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception of the city of Cuenca to promote tourism in the city through the use of innovative technologies such as augmented reality, seeking to explain elements and concepts of utmost importance for a better understanding of the tourist activity that has been taking place in the city in recent years. We will put in context the growth of new technologies over time and how these could mean a potential help for the tourist development of the city. Once this is finished, we will continue with the second chapter in which the technical development of the planning begins, a study both 2D and 3D, each of the visual characteristics of the element will be analyzed in detail, all this with the intention of having a idea in terms of dimensions and distribution of the building, and thus be able to reach the desired stylization of the work. Concluding with the analogous part, the digital development will begin, in which the polygonal modeling will be generated using the Autodesk Maya 3D program as a tool, which will allow defining the final appearance of the Cathedral to give way to the third chapter. The final chapter will cover everything related to augmented reality, both considerations that must be taken for its use, in this case the particularities of the programs that are intended to be used, such as the Vuforia and Unity 3D software.
