Item Síndrome de Burnout, depresión y ansiedad en personal sanitario del área de admisión al usuario, Distrito 01D04 – Chordeleg – Gualaceo Ministerio de Salud Pública, 2023(Universidad de Cuenca, 2024-01-22) Alvarado León, María Cristina; Peña Contreras, Eva KarinaThe burnout syndrome, characterized by emotional exhaustion, depersonalization and reduced personal accomplishment, has significant implications for the well-being of the professionals who undergo it. Its negatives effects manifest in various domains, encompassing personal, social and occupational dimensions. Furthermore, the significant association that has been found with depression and anxiety, the latter conditions being recognized by the World Health Organization as significant causes of global disability. Therefore, the importance of investigating these phenomena and paying attention to healthcare personnel in user admission roles, as they are exposed to daily stressors and play an essential role in the healthcare system. This research aimed to identify the relationship between the level of burnout syndrome and the levels of depression and anxiety in healthcare personnel working in user admission in District 01D04 Chordeleg – Gualaceo – Ministry of Public Health. A quantitative, cross-sectional, correlational, and non-experimental approach was employed with the participation of 30 professionals. Data collection instruments included the Beck Depression and Anxiety Inventory (BDI-II - BAI) and the Maslach Burnout Inventory. Data tabulation and analysis were performed using JASP 0.18.0.0 software. The results show a direct relationship between the level of burnout syndrome and levels of depression (p<.001) as well as levels of anxiety (p=.017)
