    Diseño de un sistema de gestión energética basado en la norma ISO 50001 de eficiencia energética en Continental Tire Andina

    ABSTRACT The study made in "Continental Tire Andina" tire manufacturing plant located at Km 2.8 of the Panamerican highway in the city of Cuenca, by the hand of policies of innovation, it held the Planning and Design of Energy Management System for its facilities, in order to measure performance and identify opportunities for improvement in the electrical, thermal, compressed air and cooling water within the production facilities of the company to which assets were used two instances: first determination was based on the initial state energy audit assessment in which physics calculations were addressed in the facilities allowing to place the company under regulatory technical criteria such as electricity and as a guide CONELEC 004/01 ISO 50001 Energy Efficiency was held to carry out the structural design of Energy Management System. Optimization and energy efficiency, optimization of thermal energy in curing presses, Lighting Optimization: When running the energy audit evaluation, some opportunities for improvement which are emphasized in five main areas of action these are identified. Optimization of temperature control units, efficient use of equipment (compressors, pumps, heat exchangers), which define the basis of the Energy Management System.
