Item Implementación de un programa lúdico para mejorar las habilidades motrices básicas en niños entre 5 a 10 años que practican Judo(Universidad de Cuenca, 2024-02-29) Abad Rivera, Katherine Estefanía; Guamán Zumba, María José; Varela Solano, Ramiro XavierThe objective of this study was to know the motor profile of boys and girls between 5 and 10 years of age who practice Judo in the Sports Federation of Cañar. After the pre-evaluation of this profile, a recreational program was applied, with the intention of improving basic motor skills, comparing if this program can help improve these skills in the group of boys and girls. The methodology applied was a quantitative approach and quasi-experimental design, applying pre- and post-tests to the sample, which consisted of 27 boys and girls. The instrument used was the Fonseca Psychomotor Battery (BPM), which measures 7 aspects of motor skills: tonicity, balance, laterality, body notion, temporospatial structuring, global praxia and final praxia. The recreational program was applied in the Judo Dojo and was based on factors such as tonicity, balance and laterality, which contain activities that involve the other factors of the BPM; and was applied for 4 weeks in the group of participants in the schedules that practiced Judo. The total pretest mean was 12 indicating a dyspraxic level in basic motor skills and around 1.5 in the mean for the 7 indicators. After the program and the post-test evaluation, the total mean increased to 24, suggesting a "good" indicator in the application of basic motor skills; the mean of the 7 factors rose to 3.5 in most of them, indicating the correct execution of basic motor skills, and the mean of the 7 factors rose to 3.5 in most of them, indicating the correct execution of basic motor skills.
