Memoria histórica y propuesta de producción audiovisual: Carrera de Comunicación Social de la Universidad de Cuenca

Abstract

The investigation "Historical memory and audiovisual production proposal: Social Communication Career of the University of Cuenca" was conceived with the objective of preparing a record in the chronological order of the formalization of Journalism and Communication studies. Through the recount of events and events with emphasis on changes in nomenclature and their implications at an educational level, the reforms that the training of Communicators and Journalists at the University of Cuenca has undergone since 1972 are shown. Graphics, tables and illustrations that complement the account of the events, interviews with professors and former professors of the institution and information from different sources concerning the subject. After the diagnostic and historical research, the proposal for an audiovisual documentary regarding the trajectory of the Career was prepared, which allows us to know the moments through which the training of professionals in the city of Cuenca and the region of its academic and cultural influence has passed.
