| es_ES |
dc.description.abstract | The main objective of this work is to determine the learning strategies most used in first year students of the University of Cuenca. The study is descriptive cross sectional with comparative scope. The independent variables are sex and study areas. Scales, subscales and micro strategies are managed as dependent variables, according to instructions on Gargallo, Perez and Suarez. For the process of data collection application technique of CEVEAPEU instrument was used. Results show that students of both genders and all three study areas mostly employ affective strategies, support and control or self-management, and internally use motivational and metacognitive strategies. Globally, there are no major statistically significant differences in the use of strategies; however, some internal variables have certain differences. | es_ES |
