Software educativo par el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje de las operaciones con fracciones, del bloque numérico de matemáticas en el séptimo año de EGB

Abstract

This present graduation paper is part of the area of Mathematics Education, and it pretends to emphasize the importance of the use of Educational Software in learning-teaching process about operations with fractions of Seventh Year of Basic General Education (BGE); this is complemented by exposure teacher training on ICT and the compilation of Educational Software about the mentioned content.

There are several technological tools, like Educational Software, that could apply in science education; for this,the approach of this paper pretends give an answer about the next questions: How has the teacher training about the new technologies for use in the classroom? What is the importance to apply specialized Educational Software in learning-teaching process of Mathematics? What Educational Software exists to learn operations with fractions in the area of Mathematics?

In some curriculum about teacher training it has been founded the existence of subjects related to the ICTlearning, althoughthese are not completely linked to learning of other subjects. It may be noted that the subjects about ICT are part of initial and continue teachers training. On the other hand, it is found a variety of software of free access that contribute to the mathematics teaching to present problems, challenges and the relation of fractions with daily situations, so that learning will be significant.
