| es_ES |
dc.description.abstract | Today, the introduction of new resistant material and the development of construction technology have created a tendency to design lighter and slender footbridges. The excessive vibrations caused by dynamic loads of pedestrians may affect the serviceability of footbridges because of improper design, making them unusable and abandoned by the risk and inconvenience posed to users. The building codes imposed in the country do not consider the analysis of dynamic loads caused by pedestrians when walking. This leads to uncertainty about the structural response and serviceability during the useful life of the structure. In this thesis, we present the study and analysis of the forces that generate vertical and horizontal vibrations produced by a pedestrian or a group of pedestrians by using mathematical models. Algorithms in MATLAB of the model or periodic load and Nakamura are developed for the analysis of footbridge provided by the MTOP. The objective of this analysis is to obtain an estimation of the maximum acceleration produced by the vibration and its comparison with the considerations made by the existing guides and standards such as BS 5400, ISO 10137, AASHTO LRFD GUIDE, EUROCODE and BRO 2004. To validate the methodology and results obtained, it was performed a comparison with the criteria of level of comfort and service in terms of acceleration and displacement. | es_ES |
