Abstract

The landscape component is a resource of great value for urban planning, so its integration is of utmost importance to obtain positive results in the planning process of the expansion of a settlement or territory. Because of this, it is essential to preserve the landscape by creating regulations so that visual readings have greater value in the urban environment. Defining specific determinations and regulations, as a strategy for the integration of the landscape component, will allow the landscape to be recognized as an essential factor for a vivid space that becomes a resource and an element of enhancement for the territory and a fundamental figure for the quality of life of the population. For the development of the integration of the landscape component, we begin by generating a conceptual framework that addresses the landscape as a fundamental element. Different methodologies are analyzed to establish a methodological process for the integration of the passage to a diagnosis within the process of elaboration of the management plan. Finally, as a strategy, the determinants and regulations that will allow the integration of the results obtained after having applied the methodology are presented
