dc.description	El Centro Histórico de Cuenca enfrenta varios problemas asociados con la baja densidad poblacional. En el presente proyecto se propone una alternativa enfocada en la temática mencionada por medio del diseño de un conjunto habitacional adaptable para vivienda social que cumpla con los requisitos necesarios para densificar el centro de manzana seleccionado y que a su vez favorezca la auto sustentabilidad de la ciudad. El resultado es un diseño que atiende a las exigencias planteadas, dando opción a su réplica a otros centros de manzana y proyectando un incremento consecutivo de la densidad poblacional en un 16 % en comparación con el censo realizado por el INEC en el año 2010.	en_US
dc.description.abstract	The Historic Center of Cuenca faces several problems related to the low population density. In the present project, an alternative focused on the mentioned topic is proposed by means of the design of a housing complex adaptable for social housing that meets the necessary requirements to densify the selected city block center and that also favors the self-sustainability of the city. The result is a design that meets the demands raised, giving the option to replicate it to other city block centers and projecting a consecutive increase in population density by 16% compared to the census carried out by INEC in 2010.	en_US
