| dc.description | ANTECEDENTES: Junto con la aparición del VIH también surgió la discriminación a las personas que la padecen. La sociedad en sí, manifiesta un tipo de separación social hacia estas personas a pesar de que muchas veces, tienen cierto conocimiento sobre el comportamiento de esta enfermedad. OBJETIVO: Determinar los conocimientos y actitudes que tiene el personal de salud sobre VIH/SIDA, en el Hospital Vicente Corral Moscoso en el año 2016. METODOLOGÍA: Este es un estudio cualitativo - descriptivo de corte transversal dirigido a todo el personal de salud del Hospital Vicente Corral Moscoso empleando una muestra de 279 personas. La recolección de la información se realizó por medio de cuestionarios, VIH-65 y Escala Multicomponente de Fobia al Sida. Se creó una base de datos en el programa SPSS versión 19.0. RESULTADOS: Los conocimientos tanto los correctos como los erróneos sobre VIH/SIDA son muy altos, la media fue superior al 95% de respuestas correctas. Existen conductas estigmatizantes en relación con el SIDA. | dc.description.abstract | BACKGROUND: Along with the onset of HIV, discrimination has also arisen for people who have it. The society itself, shows repudiation towards these people although they often have some knowledge about the behavior of this disease. OBJECTIVE: To determine the knowledge and attitudes that health personnel have about HIV / AIDS, at the Hospital Vicente Corral Moscoso in 2016. METHODOLOGY: This is a qualitative - descriptive cross-sectional study directed at all health personnel of the Hospital Vicente Corral Moscoso employing a sample of 279 people. The information was collected through questionnaires, HIV-65 and Multicomponent Scale of Phobia to AIDS. A database was created in the SPSS software version 19.0. RESULTS: Both correct and erroneous knowledge about HIV / AIDS are very high, the mean was above 95% correct answers. Positive, negative attitudes and self-efficacy showed high values. There are stigmatizing behaviors in relation to AIDS. CONCLUSIONS: The results showed that although knowledge is high on HIV / AIDS, there are unpredictable discrimination and phobia behaviors among health personnel. | es_ES |
