La institucionalidad en Karl Popper y Franz Hinkelammert

Abstract

This documentary bibliographic research, analyzes the category of institutions in the thought of Karl Popper and Franz Hinkelammert, in relation to scientific objectivity and democracy. The fundamental problem is to analyze whether the Popperian institutions ensures the scientific objectivity and true democracy. In addition a study was carried out on the contributions of Hinkelammert focused on subsidiarity of institutional mechanisms for with the living subject, and his criticism of the Popperian methodology and democracy. In this way in the chapter I was working the main categories of the objectivity social essentially linked to the institutional framework of Popper. The Popperian democracy is addressed in chapter II, establishing its relationship with topics such as: the open society, the closed society, social engineering, tyranny, criticism of the principle of driving, and the historicism. Chapter III gives us an approach to the position of Hinkelammert on the institutions and their relationship with the living subject. Hinkelammert's critique of Popper is embodied in chapter IV, focusing on aspects such as: the methodology, democracy, and the limitations of the Popperian conception of an institutional framework. Finally, in chapter V we outlined the validity and scope of the contributions of Popper and Hinkelammert, at the same time that we look at their positions, taking into account the novelty and relevance of their respective theoretical contributions, in our social environment.
