Niveles de depresión, factores de riesgo en internos CREIAD, 12 pasos, proyecto Esperanza Cuenca 2016

Abstract

Background: Patients with depression are usually alcohol consumers and other substances. Depression is known as a habitual mental disorder, it is characterized especially by showing sadness, loss of interest or pleasure in things that used to be pleasant, feelings of guilt or lack of self-esteem, sleep disorders, appetite, feeling tired and lack of concentration. (1) General Objective: Determine the levels of depression and risk factors in Creiad Internal Patients, Twelve Steps Clinic and Hope Project, Cuenca 2016. Methodology: A quantitative cross-sectional descriptive study was carried out. This research is made up by patients from the Creiad Rehabilitation Centers, Twelve Steps Clinic and Hope Project. For the data analysis I used the SPSS program version 15.0 evaluation of the descriptive analysis was done using frequencies, percentages and tables, for the simple ordinal and nominal variables, and for quantitative variables the data were analyzed by mean, standard and median deviation. Results Use: The data obtained will be used by the Directors of the respective Rehabilitation Centers that were part of the study, with the aim of adopting and instituting measures to prevent the development of the disease, and thus protect of later episodes to the internal patients that can end in one of the fatal outcomes of this pathology that is the suicide. Together this research will be available in the Library of Medical Sciences Faculty of Cuenca University
