Geo-estadística de infraestructura en la ciudad de Cuenca mediante la utilización de sistemas de información geográfica

Abstract

This monograph is about Infrastructure Geostatisticsby using geographic information systems, which is to make a geostatistical analysis of the relationship between the existing urban infrastructure and the surrounding environmentconditions. We chose to take the city of Cuenca, being an urban land with the highest density of population and above all that is in continuous development, where we can find the urban infrastructure such as education, health, recreational, industrial, commercial, etc. ., we want to analyze statistically with respect to the environment. Maps would be produced for appropriate applications as a better site selection, better natural resource management, urban planning, traffic engineering and facilities management especially. Furthermore, the connection / intersection define layers combining result. The purpose of this monograph is to produce geostatistical maps that doesnt exist at the moment, and can serve as support tools for planning future settlements and appropriate location of urban infrastructure for the development of the above employ the use of GIS software for the production of these planes.
