Diseño a nivel de anteproyecto del Centro de Convenciones para la ciudad de Zaruma

Abstract

The present titling work consists in carrying out the design of a Convention Center for the city of Zaruma, which is a requirement of the municipality of that city, due to the need that the population demands due to the lack of cultural spaces. It began with a theoretical analysis that resulted in the definition of equipment and sustainability, elements that are key to propose a building in an existing urban context since it is necessary to know its function; which is to enhance the urban activity of the city in its expansion zone. With these guidelines we proceed to contextualize the Convention Center knowing its necessary spaces and anthropometric measures for its proper functioning.

Once the first phase was concluded, the case studies proceeded, which led to the selection of projects that have a relationship and focus on topography, climatic conditions and the structural system that is managed in the middle, this study aims to extract guidelines and guidelines that serve as a tool for the development of the project. In the next stage priority was given to the property and immediate context, different analyzes were carried out based on: materiality, morphological aspects, topography, transport and mobility, landscape, bioclimatic. Important constraints for the implementation of the project in the arranged site.

Based on all the previous study detailed above, and with solid foundations we proceeded to the final phase, the development of the urban-architectural blueprint of the Convention Center for Zaruma.
